Terrible experience. We arrived 9 minutes late for a 2 PM Vetco appointment, but no one was there to check us in. Then someone came out and told us to wait. Then someone came out again at 2:15 PM and then refused to see us because we were “10 minutes late” — after making us wait themselves. Extremely unprofessional and frustrating.

I want to sincerely thank Dr. Alcorn and Sylvia for taking such wonderful care of Jasper. I truly appreciate that you exhausted every option before determining that he needed to be transferred for emergency care. Thank you both for your time, patience, compassion, and understanding throughout such a stressful situation. Your kindness meant more than you know. I also want to express my gratitude for going above and beyond by communicating directly with the emergency veterinary team before Jasper’s arrival. Because of your coordination, the transition was seamless—they were expecting him and were ready to begin treating him right away. That level of care and dedication gave me tremendous peace of mind during a very difficult time. Thank you again for everything you did for Jasper and for supporting us every step of the way. I will always be grateful for your exceptional care and compassion.

Took 2 of my dogs there to get annual vaccinations and heartworm tests so I could order heartworm meds. I specifically asked for prescriptions for heartgaurd. They put refills for simparico on my account. I went ahead and ordered the heart guard anyway. paid for the prescription. its been sitting for 5 days now while " they try to contact my vet" which ridiculously is them. So sick of waiting, I uploaded the written prescription for both dogs. Only to get a reply that I have to mail them in. Again they are the vet. They have this on file. they have my money. Then because I uploaded both prescriptions, I get another email stating "I have to place a new order" meanwhile they still have my money so in order to place another order I would have to pay again. Do not waste your time here. Go to Banfield. I will never use Petxo for anything ever again. Considering I have 5 dogs and spend several hundred a .pnth in food and treats and bring 3 there for veterinary care tou would expect a little more competency.

I want to share my experience regarding the care my dog has received for his perineal hernia. Since finding out about his condition, I have been doing everything within my means to care for him. I’ve brought him in multiple times to have the hernia expressed when it becomes enlarged and painful. In the beginning, the staff seemed very compassionate and understanding, which meant a lot during such a stressful time. However, over time, that experience began to change. As the process seemed to become more frustrating, the level of care and empathy I initially received declined. I understand this may be a complex or uncommon case, but this is also a very new and emotional experience for me as a pet owner. During one visit, a staff member named Ahmed told me I would need to be charged due to the effort involved. I agreed without issue, but the interaction felt dismissive and uncomfortable. From that point on, I no longer felt supported and began to feel judged for not being able to afford a $10,000 surgery—despite doing everything I can for my dog. Because of that shift, I stopped bringing him in and have been doing my best to manage his condition at home. Today, when his hernia became severely enlarged and he was clearly uncomfortable, I called for urgent care. Ahmed answered, and the tone immediately felt cold and unwelcoming. This experience has been deeply hurtful. Our pets are family, and this is a place I trusted to help care for mine during a very sensitive time. Compassion and consistency matter just as much as treatment, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures all clients are treated with empathy, regardless of their financial circumstances.
