- KKKatMay 18, 20265.0Brittany was able to fit my baby for same day appointment. Dr. Krueger took her time with Kody and answered all my questions and concerned. Britney even called to follow up and see how Kody was doing and help me with a compounding pharmacy to get Kody the right dosage of his medication. I will continue to bring Kody and my other baby here! Context: We just moved from Massachusetts about two weeks ago. My 12 year old chihuahua, Kody has heart disease and is on several meds to be taken twice daily. On Saturday morning I realized I had ran out of one of the medications and I frantically started calling all nearby Banfield Pet Hospitals (I have the wellness plan and it is SO WORTH IT!) because the one located in Cary, who just saw him last Saturday was unable to see him nor get an emergency script to last me for a couple of days until the doctor was back in office. I still have yet to hear back from them...

However, I’ve encountered a level of dismissiveness and unprofessionalism from this particular vet that I’ve never experienced before. Despite living just two minutes away and my pet’s numerous visits to this clinic over the years, they refused to assist my pet. I can’t wait to cancel my insurance when this cycle ends.
- HMHannah MillerMar 1, 20261.0Thought it was a great place but after too many incidents that left my cat more injured than before I refuse to keep paying for care if its going to result in him being dragged back for things that were never an issue. NOT cat friendly at all seeing as they left him in his carrier cramped with a cone on and a bandage that one came off and two resulted in heavy swelling of his foot. Refused to admit that they either cut him or left a hole too big from iv needle resulting in glue that didnt even hold the wound in place together. I REFUSE to keep paying for worthless service thats supposed to provide care and financial support to people who love their pets. I would rather pay one big bill once a year and ensure my cat and happy and healthy. Than pay 3 times the amount and still have so many issues that they keep causing.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
