  I would like to say that the Banfield that am going to now in Raleigh NC is much better then the one I used to take my dogs to. When I would call the VA Beach Hospital, most of the time I would get an excuse why they couldn’t help me even though I was on their plan. Unless you had an appointment they wouldn’t talk to you. Just recommend you take your pet to an expensive Hospital. It was a very costly and frustrating experience with them. However, since moving to Raleigh the experience is much better. My family is planning to change vets and take their pets to the Brier Creek Office.

  THIS IS A REVIEW WITH THE MESSAGE... IT DIDN'T FEEL RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING! I should have read the reviews first. I came to this location because it's close to me and with my first pup I had a GREAT experience. I didn't like what I felt today bringing my only 8 week old MINI baby for the first time. Everything felt routine, dry and rushed. Only one lady at the front desk offered him a hug while I was filling out paperwork. The other girl had her hand on her head the entire time and was totally stressed. No treats or friendly smiles that usually happen. Just nothing! Then the examination. JEEZUS. No warm up, just traumatize him... Up my butt, in my arm, in my nose, wherever. The guy was talking so fast, I had to slow him down. I was so devastated for my baby boy but had to keep my calm so he could too. 😪 IT WAS TERRIBLE in my spirit but again, I tried to stay calm and positive. Now, a part I could emphasize with is, our appointment had to be rescheduled due to, "an earlier surgery with another dog that had complications". In their words. With that said, I first pray that dog was ok. Next, the team should consider self care if something is overwhelming. The stress could be seen by me with EVERYONE upon arrival so, I can only imagine what my baby felt or the other dogs. I'm just sad because it could've been a hard day for folks but it was devastating for myself and my 8 week old pup. I'm not going to downplay Banfield because again, I've had previous good experiences. However, I'm not sure if I would return to this location. If that is what's in front of me, then what happens behind closed doors. Do your research people. This is not the review I was hoping to leave but it's from my heart. I know everyone is doing their best.

  Kingston and I are going on three weeks together. Our first visit was a pleasant one. I'm looking forward to our next appointment.

  Brittany was able to fit my baby for same day appointment. Dr. Krueger took her time with Kody and answered all my questions and concerned. Britney even called to follow up and see how Kody was doing and help me with a compounding pharmacy to get Kody the right dosage of his medication. I will continue to bring Kody and my other baby here! Context: We just moved from Massachusetts about two weeks ago. My 12 year old chihuahua, Kody has heart disease and is on several meds to be taken twice daily. On Saturday morning I realized I had ran out of one of the medications and I frantically started calling all nearby Banfield Pet Hospitals (I have the wellness plan and it is SO WORTH IT!) because the one located in Cary, who just saw him last Saturday was unable to see him nor get an emergency script to last me for a couple of days until the doctor was back in office. I still have yet to hear back from them...
