    Typical corporate veterinary chain experience: rushed, disorganized, and uncaring. Appointment for our cat turned into waiting 30+ minutes in the operatory while staff forgot about it completely. Later told the doctor was unavailable because “he’s in surgery.” No apologies, no urgency, just excuses. This location exemplifies everything wrong with big-chain vet clinics. Wasted my time. Do not go here.

    They need more employees. It is so frustrating to try and get through when calling. When you finally get through they ask if it is an emergency or if you can hold, you then wait another 15 minutes. When you go in person to avoid being put on hold you are now waiting for the team member to answer the calls and put them on hold before you can get help. They are low staffed and it is a busy location. Definitely need more than 1 person sitting in the front. My dog had a procedure today. Before the team member could call for my dog to be brought to the front she had to first put 3 lines on hold. I just wanted to lay eyes on my dog (she went under general anesthesia)and take her home. The lack of staff is insensitive to the pets and pet owners.

    The doctor spent about 3 or 4 minutes talking to me about allergy medicine for my dog and left not to return. I ask the young girl questions about her hips and teeth. She she would ask the doctor to come back in. She did not return. She said the doctor said she did notice her hips were a little stiff It would have been nice to have a little communication with the doctor as to my dogs health

    Everyone was friendly and helpful! Our vet tech took time to show and explain ear care, since our dog had an ear infection and had rolled in the mud and needed her ear cleaned.

    El lunes 11 de mayo de 2026 tuve la consulta habitual de mi perrita Peky en la clínica de Matthews con el Dr. Ivan Fernández. Fue evidente que habían cambiado al personal porque los empleados habituales no estaban y toda la experiencia fue mala, desde la recepción hasta el médico. Lo primero que hizo el doctor fue decir lo que supuestamente tenía mi mascota sin siquiera mirarnos a la cara, llegando incluso a dudar de la edad que aparece registrada en su historial médico. Ahora realmente dudo que ese día le hayan puesto las vacunas y que la enfermedad que dijo que tiene sea real, ya que llevo dos años con membresía en esa clínica y ahora supuestamente mi perrita tiene un soplo en el corazón. Además, el Dr. Ivan Fernández trató mal al asistente, quien fue la única persona durante todo el proceso que nos atendió de manera profesional y amable. On Monday, May 11, 2026, I took my dog Peky for her regular appointment at the Matthews clinic with Dr. Ivan Fernandez. It was obvious that they had changed the staff because the usual employees were not there, and the entire experience was bad — from the reception to the veterinarian. The first thing the doctor did was tell us what my dog supposedly had without even looking us in the eye, even questioning the age listed in her medical records. Now I truly doubt that she even received her vaccines that day and whether the condition the doctor claimed she has is real, since I have had a membership with this clinic for two years and now supposedly my dog has a heart murmur. In addition, Dr. Ivan Fernandez mistreated the assistant, who was the only person throughout the entire process that treated us professionally and kindly.
