- SSShannonJul 29, 20262.0I have been going to this vet for over 25 years. My dogs have always had good treatment. My complaint isn't about the treatment. It's more about communication and cost. I know things are high. I'm a business owner myself. However, every time I bring my dogs (4) to this vet the price is ALWAYS more than they quote me. After taking my dog last week they were unsuccessful in doing anything bc she was so stressed out. They charged me $271 for an ear culture and medicine. They told me to double up on her anxiety meds and bring her back today to get her Proheart vaccine and allergy shot. This would be a total of another $356. They said it would just be a tech appointment and I only would pay for the 2 shots. After checking her in today they said she would need a heart worm exam before they can give her the Proheart shot. That was going to be another $100. That means that I would have paid a total of $727 for 2 shots, and exam, and ear culture with meds. CRAZY!
