- HTHannah ThrowerMay 8, 20261.0I adore the employees at this store, and am a frequent customer as no other pet stores ever have enough crickets to feed all our pets, but I have a problem with the setups corporate sends to them. The “desk pets” setup is absolutely AWFUL. Pac-man frogs DO need a water dish, heat and UVB, and tarantulas and jumping spiders DO need a small water dish, and many are not supposed to have their tanks misted as the moisture in the air can harm them. Also, pac man frogs grow to be very big and need 20 gallons MINIMUM as an adult, which is NOT in any way a small pet to keep on your desk. If corporate cares about their animals, employees, and customers, they would make a change.

I work in the veterinary field and I’m not going to purchase an animal without inspecting it. Hope this sends a message to corporate to change the policy. Have prospective buyers sign a waiver.
