  If you’re looking for more exotic animals than fish you got to check this store out. Just don’t come looking for fish because the only fish they sell are saltwater fish and betta fish.

  Had to pick up some food and was horrified at the desktop pet selection as soon as you walk in the door. That is so so unethical and cruel, tarantulas need more than that and they are NOT “desktop pets.” Very disappointed to see petco promoting this and I absolutely will not be returning to any Petco location until they can either 1) promote better husbandry 2) drop the whole desktop pet things entirely. ALL animals deserve good quality of life.

  One of the items I purchased rang up incorrectly (didn’t realize until I was home so I didn’t take it back) and the cat section is like 1/4 of the store while the dog section is most of the store. Frustrating as I was trying to find a chicken free food for my cat with allergies and did not find any options.

  Lo peor, llevé a que me bañen mi perrita husky y según la mujer que me atendió dijo que no podía bañarla que era una perra agresiva, apenas tiene 4 meses, y es cero agresiva, solo es que no se queda quieta es husky, por eso dijo que es agresiva, que no podía bañarla, un completo asco la atención, pésima. Dijo que tenía que llevar a mi perita a entrenar, como si fuese un perro agresivo, el peor lugar para llevar tu cachorro a bañar. 0 profesional. Si se pudiera dar 0 estrellas lo haría.

  The vet clinic was absolutely amazing. However the grooming station is terrible! When I arrived I watched them shave down all the dogs in there and they all looked like they didn’t want to do their jobs. The lady who met me came out and was already giving me negative vibes before she even spoke. I asked her not to shave my puppy low, I let her know that this is his first groom and he’s still a baby so he’s going to be curious and a little anxious but I don’t want him to have any calming agents and she immediately got hostile with me and I knew at that point it wasn’t going to be a good outcome. She then proceeded to tell me that they couldn’t groom him because he needed to see a vet and get his ears cleaned… he just went to the vet a few days earlier and was cleared for his first grooming.. and it’s their job to groom not the vet. Then she proceeded to tell me that he would have to be shaved low despite my request.. my puppy is brushed regularly he just has long hair and she didn’t want to work with it. Ultimately she ended the conversation with telling me to take him to a one on one groomer since it would be his first grooming out side of his parents daily maintenance. I was very dissatisfied with the customer service and the interaction as a whole. She was simply lazy and didn’t want to work with a long haired puppy, and didn’t want to work with a puppy who’s parents pay attention to everything. These are members of peoples families, they are going to have concerns and if you can’t handle that you shouldn’t be working with them. Believe the reviews before you waste your time.
