    We’ve been bringing our dogs here for over five years and have always had positive experiences, which is why this visit was disappointing. Our appointment was for a simple vaccine and nail trim that took only a few minutes once we were seen, but we waited over an hour before being called back. The staff was friendly, and I appreciate that they offered a $15 credit for the inconvenience. However, such a long wait for a very quick appointment was frustrating, especially since this hasn’t been our experience in the past. We value the care our pets have received here over the years and hope this was just an isolated issue.

    Lake cross was BEYOND amazing!!! They were so amazing to me and my cat. They took him in straight away in an emergency situation. He unfortunately was already passing but they did everything they could and made the process bearable. They went above and beyond with his paw print and nose print and gifted the sweetest gift I could ask for. They handled his cremation service and held his ashes while I was away for as long as I needed with no rush. I will definitely be taking my other cat here for services from now on!! The whole staff is just beyond incredible :)

    Not helpful in the slightest. I called to make an appointment to spay and the cat was likely pregnant. I was told they needed to do an eval first. I made the appointment for 2 days out. We went to the appointment. They said yes she's pregnant but here's a different vet to go to. The different vet also stated they needed to do an eval, 2 days out. Meanwhile, cats still pregnant, high risk. I wound up calling Spay and Neuter of the Carolinas and was met with people that actually listened, care about the animal and got me in the next day. Also, theres an ad all over the internet saying $25 exam but I went here once, 4 years ago, with an entirely different animal, so it was $85, for them to tell me the reason I made the appointment in the first place. Absolute waste of time and money.

    We’ve been customers of LakeCross for about 5.5 years, in fact since we moved to Huntersville area, and we’ve never had a complaint about this Veterinary Clinic, but today my wife and I were seriously disappointed. We went to the clinic today to ask for support on getting a rabies vaccination certificate issued back in 2022, signed by the doctor that applied the vaccine. We do have the certificate, but according CDC, needs to be signed by the doctor. The response (in a call later this afternoon), was that the Doctor doesn’t work anymore for the Clinic and we could not help. They said I could Google it and find the Doctor and solve the issue and when I asked if they could do that for me, as a client and as they have the relationship employer-employee, that answer was short and disappointing … there is nothing we can do !!!! Just wanted to express my 100% dissatisfaction with this situation, with ZERO support from the clinic. I know it is not their responsibility (I guess …), but after 5.5 years been a loyal customer, I would expect a minimum answer like … let’s see what we can do !!! Very, very, very disappointed!!!
