I am disgusted with the predatory shift in business practices at Hudson Animal Hospital. As a long-term customer who has trusted this clinic with my pets for years, Suveto’s ownership has turned a respected community practice into a high-pressure sales floor. During my dog's recent visit, the focus was completely stripped of genuine care and replaced by aggressive upselling. I was given a $1,400 estimate for a routine dental cleaning. A few years ago, the exact same procedure for the exact same dog at this exact clinic cost $300. A 360% markup isn’t inflation. It is just plain private equity greed. It is obvious that Hudson Animal Hospital now operates under profit maximizing directives designed to squeeze maximum revenue out of pet owners. Forcing veterinarians to act as high-pressure salespeople pushing expensive treatments instead of cost-effective remedies is an insult to the profession and a violation of my trust. Because of these predatory practices, I will be transferring my records to a family owned, independent practice that still values ethics over boardroom margins. Suveto may have bought the building, but they have thoroughly destroyed Hudson Animal Hospital’s reputation.

Absolutely the most amazing vet they are so kind they care about your fur babies love to see them grow extremely helpful you can call them with any questions at all and they answer them without any problems. And to top it all off they don’t charge you an arm and a leg to bring your fur baby in when it’s not a well check visit. Just this past visit my mini schaunzer had 4 vaccines and a well check visit I only paid $180 for all of it thats including the flea tick heart worm monthly pill. Go make an appointment for your fur baby here you want regrets it!!!!

Toby is a shih tuz mix. He has always had his shot here. Back in Sept. 2025 is took him back after a emergency vet visit where I reported Toby was pooping straight blood. He had a little knot on the right side of his tail. They told me it was gas and/or acid reflex and to give him a half of a heartburn pill once a day. Well now its April 2026 and Toby was having a hard time going to bathroom he hadn't pooped in 3 days at this point. I took him here on Friday hoping they would help him and I revealed to them that now he had one knot on each side of his tail and it had got extremely bigger in the last week or two. They informed me he had a bilingual Perineal Hernia. And told me the surgery to repair it would be $3031.15 + $189 for bloodwork. Also telling ne that he hadn't pooped by Monday to bring him back. Meanwhile we decided to get a second opinion. After the new vet examined him I was told that it was the worse cause they had ever seen and was very surprised that hudson animal hospital didn't at least relieve him cause he was extremely backed up. On top of that the surgery only cost me $1398.00. Which got done that day cause they was going to let him go another day feeling a miserable as he was. So not only was hudson going to double charge me. They didn't inform me how serious my Toby's condition was. I really feel like they could of care less and most likely c9uld of prevented it all together.

Back in Sept 2025, we brought our 5 yr old Shih Tzu terrier mix in for a problem with his anus. We said something about the bump or bulge near his anus and nothing was said about it. Little did we know it was the start of his problem, Pernial Hernia, in my opinion it was overlooked!!! Well last week we brought our boy there (HAH) and give the vet all his symptoms which involved of not eating 2 days, not drinking 2days and not pooping for 3 days. They took him in the back, dont know if they even did an x-ray. We were given a laxative and something for the inflammation, and get this "bring him back Monday if he doesn't poop" so that would have been almost 6 days without pooping!! Wth!!! So our friend referred us to take our boy to another Vet, and they were absolutely floored that something wasn't done right then and there by HAH , that they never seen a case this bad! They sadly said that he should be "put down"!! We couldn't just because HAH didn't think or didn't treat our boy as a priority!! The other vet took our boy straight in the back and he's in surgery as im typing this. The cost of this surgery is a little over $1000.00, where as HAH charge for the same surgery is $3036.00 WTH!!! We are waiting for our boy to come out of recovery now. What do you think about all this , whats your opinion 🤔 Highway robbery....unhappy doggy lover/animal lover consumer!!
