  My original review was removed, so I would like to respectfully share my experience again. After having my dog groomed at Petco, I contacted the store because I noticed fleas and wanted to ask whether there was any possibility they could have been present or picked up during the grooming visit. My intention was simply to raise a concern and better understand what may have happened. Unfortunately, I did not feel that my concern was taken seriously at the time, which is what ultimately led me to leave a review. I completely understand that there may be no way to determine where the fleas came from, and I am not claiming that they necessarily came from Petco. However, I believe better communication could have helped prevent the misunderstanding and frustration that followed. At no point was I disrespectful toward the staff, and I was disappointed to subsequently be asked to "part ways" with Petco and informed that I was banned from returning. I respect that a business has the right to make decisions regarding its customers, but I do not feel that my actions warranted being characterized in that way. I have chosen not to return to Petco, but I do hope that my experience can be viewed fairly and that my character is not judged based on a disagreement or misunderstanding. I am sharing this review respectfully so that others can make their own informed decisions about their experiences with the company. I sincerely hope that concerns from customers can be met with open communication and an opportunity to be heard, even when there is disagreement about what occurred.

  Not bad. Could definitely use more mammalian pets. Mostly reptiles and fish. Only saw 2 guinea pigs.

  My dog went for a grooming appointment and came back with fleas. I called the store to inform them. I was informed I would get a call back, but of course I never did. So beware and check your babies for fleas and ticks if you get them groomed in Greenville. My dog has never had fleas or ticks in his 2 years and 4 months of living. He is an inside dog. UPDATE: They never called me back. I went to the store and was told if they see any visible fleas they turn them away. No accountability what so ever. The manager looked at me with big eyes shrugging her shoulders. Smh I'm tired of companies not taking accountability for inconvenience other people. I could've cleaned my own dog, like I have been, but I chose to spend $70 just for him to come back to my home with fleas. ‼️MY ADVICE IS NOT TO GET YOUR PET GROOMED AT THE GREENVILLE NC LOCATION‼️ LATEST UPDATE: I have been refunded and told we (Petco and I) will just "PART WAYS" from here. I was told that it was because there was no way he could've gotten the fleas from there. He explained how that was and it made logical sense. If he had called me back after the first time I called I wouldnt have posted my first review. It took that post for me to be contacted. The funny thing is that I wasn't looking for a refund. I initially called to informed them of the situation so that no one else would go through this. Smh I never asked for a refund, because I received the service and the service was good. I just wonder if any one else that has brought an concern to their attention had to "PART WAYS" with them. I was never aggressive or combative. I spoke to them respectfully and professionally. No profanity or threatening tone what so ever was ever used. This has been so emotional for no reason.
