I have never felt more respected, valued, and heard than I have with these employees. They are some of the most understanding, trustworthy, and caring vets, assistants, and technicians, I have ever met. I brought my freshly adopted dog that had been abused for nine months prior, and they took every step slow, explained and walked me through it, made sure that I was comfortable and my dog was comfortable, and offered amazing payment plans for veterinary care. I even brought my 14 year-old childhood dog here and they were so meticulous and gentle with him. please do not overlook these amazing angels because it is a corporate company. While they may be corporate, they will always treat you like family. Even better than the last two veterinary offices my mom had prior. Love love love them! Also, special shoutout to my front desk ladies (I love you all)!

I never leave reviews for places but I did not have a good experience here and want to share what happened. I will start by saying the staff was extremely caring to my dog. She was having severe neck pain and screaming out if she moved the wrong way. She was in severe pain when we arrived and they came to my car and helped me bring her in. However, this place is extremely overpriced. I had a coupon so the exam itself was free. They recommend I get x-rays and said one xray is around $140. Then they said they wanted multiple images which was an additional cost. Then they said they wanted to send it out to be read instead of in the clinic for an additional cost. Then they said I should rush the xray for another additional cost. The $140 xray turned into $700. I was able to talk it down to around $300 and when I went to pay at the front desk the girl working tried again to charge me $700. They offer no payment plans and instead tried to talk me into getting a credit card. I ended up only being able to afford the medication which was around $110. One of the medications was send to a pharmacy when I called they said they had nothing under my name. I called three different pharmacies in Greenville and none of them had it. My dog ended up being delayed three days into one of the medicines she was supposed to be on. I’m not sure if this was disorganization on the hospitals behalf or on the pharmacies. After two weeks my dog still had neck pain so I ended up taking her to the Animal Hospital of Pitt County and was able to get medication, exam, and the x-rays for $336 with exceptional care. Please if you have the chance call around and do not spend the ridiculous amounts they are asking. I can’t imagine being in an emergency situation and having no choice but to pay that much.

Late January I adopted Roxie and we've been to Banfield Pet Hospital twice. Both visits when exceptionally well. Roxie was very comfortable there and the staff was very comfortable with her. I love the honesty, transparency, and the professionalism. One of the unique things is that they offer a free first visit. I haven't seen any other vets offering a free first visit.

First time visiting was a very good experience! The staff was very knowledgeable and also understanding of being a pet owner. Explained everything thoroughly before doing anything and worked very well and quick with a nervous doggy! Thank you to the staff there!
