- SESandi EscontriasOct 14, 20265.0From check-in staff to in room vet tech AND Ms. Kelly Loewe I honestly had the BEST visit in 14 years. Everything & appointment was excellent. Dr. Loewe even sat on the floor w/Miss E. calming her, giving her vaccines & we assisted with the in mouth vaccines. I hv never had this attentiveness before & it impressed my husband too as I am normally in charge visits. Sooo much information given for Miss E's decline in back legs at time. We hv to decide whether to try Librela injections or not. Prayers

They are family, and you want to know that while you’re not there, someone is caring for them with the same love, patience, and compassion that you would. Mariah is that person. She has such a genuinely kind and compassionate heart, and it shows in everything she does. She treats my pets with so much gentleness, patience, and love, and I can tell that their comfort and well-being genuinely matter to her. Knowing that Mariah is taking care of them gives me a sense of comfort and reassurance that is hard to put into words. There is something incredibly special about someone who can make both the animals AND their owners feel cared for. Mariah has that gift. She understands that our pets aren’t “just pets” — they are our babies, our companions, and such an important part of our lives. The way she cares for mine means more to me than she probably realizes. I am so thankful every time my pets are in her care. Her compassion, patience, and dedication do not go unnoticed. Mariah is truly one of those people who makes a difficult experience a little easier simply by being there. I feel incredibly lucky that my pets have someone like her looking after them. What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.

No, Banfield Pet Hospital does not provide emergency care. However, you can call during hospital hours for urgent care advice and referrals. For after-hours emergencies, please contact your local emergency hospital.
