The grooming experience was absolutely terrible and very frustrating from start to finish. When we arrived, we were asked for proof of rabies vaccination. We showed the rabies tags, but were then told that tags were not sufficient and that they needed the actual documentation. My concern is that this should have been clearly communicated when the appointment was booked or in writing beforehand. I had to get on the phone with my dog’s veterinarian, who fortunately was able to send the paperwork while we were there. Before leaving my dog, we were told the grooming would take approximately 2–3 hours. However, less than 20 minutes after leaving, I received a call saying they could not finish grooming him. They were unable to finish his nails, dry him, or complete the service I was paying for. I was then told that my dog “should be trained better” before coming in. I have never had an issue with my dog being groomed by other groomers. Yes, he can be a little crazy, and I specifically included in the appointment notes that he is jumpy and has anxiety. That information was provided ahead of time so the groomer would be aware and prepared. I completely understand that some dogs can be difficult or anxious during grooming, and I would have been much more understanding if the situation had simply been explained professionally. However, I feel that the way this was handled was extremely unprofessional. We wasted time, gas, and had our dog in their care for only about 20 minutes before being told they could not complete the service. If you are a professional groomer, I would expect you to have the experience and ability to work with dogs who may be nervous, anxious, jumpy, or difficult. If there are limitations regarding the types of dogs you can safely groom, that should be communicated before accepting the appointment. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I will not be returning.

Very disappointed with my experience at this Petco location. Today I purchased puppy food for my German Shepherd puppy, only to discover it was expired. After eating it, my puppy became sick, which was extremely frightening. I returned to the store, and while the manager refunded the purchase, there was no apology or concern shown for what had happened. What made the situation even worse was that when I went to grab another bag of the same food and other brands, I found multiple expired ones still sitting on the shelf. It took checking multiple bags before I finally found one that had not expired. Expired pet food should never be available for purchase, especially when it can potentially put an animal's health at risk. Pet owners trust stores like Petco to ensure the products on their shelves are safe, and this experience seriously damaged that trust. I hope this location takes inventory checks more seriously and removes expired products before another pet or pet owner has to go through the same experience.

I bought a bearded dragon from petsmart and petsmart has been not helpful at all and gave us non reliable advice with the bearded dragon and the enclosure. I ended up calling petco and they have been so helpful and gave us good advice on what to feed. Now I know what pet store to trust!
