Would give 0 stars if we could. The only consistent thing at this location is how inconsistent they are. Their online booking system alway has "issues", we get different information everytime we call regarding treatments, and what next steps are. Took almost 6 months to get a female puppy dog spayed because the staff kept telling us different things. In particular how they couldnt schedule a spay 2 months in advance. Right after they told us to call them once the dog stopped being in heat. That they would "count the days" and schedule it exactly 2 months out, to then tell us they couldnt schedule 2 months out. Then they told me to bring my other dog in for a physical because we couldn't schedule their neuter without a physical exam. Then we showed up and we're told they was no need for a physical, that I should've just scheduled the neutering. We ended up switching to another hospital that knew that they were doing and didn't just take the dog in the back for an in-person appointment. Not to mention the wellness plan has been a scam.

After my experience, I can see why there are only 2 Banfield’s in the Raleigh/Durham area that have a lower rating than this one.
I have a diabetic dog that is currently wearing a glucose monitoring device. These devices have to be replaced every 2 weeks. He is on his 6th sensor now, trying to find the right insulin dosage. I could not get an appointment into my normal Banfield location in Garner for a few days so I brought him to this Banfield to get it placed.
First off, it ended up costing over double the amount at this Banfield vs. my usual location. But I said it’s whatever, I brought him in and they placed it. None of his sensors had even come loose, much less fallen off in these 2 week periods. This one fell completely off after 4 days. Once they come detached, they become defunct, so I had to go buy a new one. I brought him in with the new device to be placed and showed them the one that had fallen off. I basically received a “boo hoo, sad story, not my problem” from the doctor when I brought him in. This was the only device this location attached… the only one that had ever become loose.
I ended up going to my normal Banfield where they squeezed him into their schedule. They charged me less than half of what this location charged me and after 5 days, it is still perfectly attached… like it has been every single time, except for the one this location placed.
I asked to speak to the manager and was told by the person working the front desk that they would leave a note and the manager would call me. Shockingly, that phone call never came.
Needless to say, I’d much rather wait for a few days for an appointment at my Banfield location to get him in, instead of going to this location.

I gave 5 stars, because the employees deserve the recognition. From the front desk to the vet assistant and everyone in the back room. Every time me and Hondo come in, he seems very relaxed and obeys very well considering he is only 11 months old, and he has never done this before. Thank you to ALL the vet staff for making his appointments easy for him.

I signed up online for an in-room visit. I drove 45 minutes to get there and when I arrived with my kitten I was told it's drop off only. Even though I specifically signed up for an in-room visit. I was not called or emailed about them making this change. I asked to speak with a manager and was told they are in between managers right now and there's no one for me to speak with.
I know when my daughter had used their drop off service in the past, her cat ended up hurt. I did not want to drop off nor would it make sense living 45 minutes away and this is a kitten and I want a positive experience just coming for vaccines.

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
