  Dr tiller is great! Location is nice dogs don't freak out they think they are going to PETCO for a treat vs a vet!! I used a coupon on the vet visit but pricing is a little higher than some vets at $85 plus a 6.99 disposal fee. First time vet users get a coupon for a free visit in September 2026 from the call center rep I spoke to. However the lab tests are very pricey vs some other vets. They said if I come back for vaccines the rate for the visit is $45 plus the vaccine and 6.99 fee. Vs $85. I was very happy with dr tiller at vetco durham. I took my dog in for stiffness and arthritis which my sister's dog also has. I borrowed a few of my sisters pills for my dog and the results were incredible. So I knew what medication I needed and didn't want all the blood and urine tests some of which are suggested not required because some medicines are bad for a dog's liver and kidneys. My dog is 9 and I am more worried about his comfort at this age vs his liver when sadly most golden get cancer. The nurse said the blood and urine lab tests were $220. Which is pretty expensive my sisters vet charges $70 for the same tests. I declined the tests!! But the doctor was fine writing the prescription without the tests since my dog was older . I didn't want my dog poked with needles and subject to all the tests either. I am happy I didn't have to argue at all I just declined the tests at our own risk. My dog feels wonderful in the meds now and he's jumping around again. I'm so happy. Hopefully I won't have to return again except for vaccines but I will be back! Thank you vetco and dr. Tiller!

  Appointment was at 4 PM. Didn't see anyone until close to 5 PM and then it was Vet Tech (room lights went off several times due to motion detection/timer issues). Saw Vet at 5:40. Was able to leave about 5:55 PM. Vet was very nice, and would give Vet a 5 though.

  Dr. Walters and her team have been incredible. Our dog, Bonnie, had a procedure that required several visits for pre-op and post-op follow-up. Bonnie gets very scared at the vet and tends to be reactive, but every team member did an amazing job of being gentle and measured while taking care of our girl. Arielle at the front desk worked hard to keep us informed along the way. She was kind and chipper every time we visited. Luis and the other vet techs (there is one in particular who helped us several times, but I can’t remember her name! She was wonderful though!) asked great questions and made Bonnie feel settled. And Dr. Walters never made us feel rushed. She took her time to answer our questions and always promptly called with follow-up results. Thank you, awesome Vetco team!

  I booked online for my dog’s routine vaccinations. I was told at my private vet they wouldn’t see my healthy 4 year old dogs to give vaccines without and appointment. In July 2025, my vet quoted me a $850 cost for two exams and routine vaccines. This is closer to me, not convenient, and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Total cost was under $250 for my dogs to get 5 vaccines in total (3 for 1 dog, 2 for the other).
