Liberty was amazing with our yellow Labrador Penny. Penny has so much energy, we were not sure she would be able to listen and learn. Penny stayed with Liberty for 2 weeks. Liberty sent us text messages, photos, and videos every day that included training progress and also great insight as to what drives Penny. When we met Penny again after the two weeks, we were blown away by the way Penny listened and reacted to each command given. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to have their dog trained to get in touch with Liberty from Off Leash K9 - Raleigh Durham.

Denise was FANTASTIC!!! We brought her our Goose (wire-haired labradoodle) with a myriad of puppy issues that we were trying to correct ourselves- but we needed help. And boy did Denise deliver. She was in contact the entire board and train, answered any questions, and at pick up, was so patient, calm and thorough with training us to better help and care for our Goose. He is still a puppy, but what a wonderful puppy he is now- he is excited for walks, loves his place, doesn't jump on anyone, has decreased his attention barking and is just such a joy! We couldn't recommend Denise more to anyone thinking of taking their dog to her. Thank you, thank you Denise!!!

Off Leash K9 did such an amazing job with my pup Murphy! Special shoutout to Gabby, our trainer who turned my overly energetic and anxious puppy to such a calm and more relaxed guy. Gabby worked her magic and I just can’t thank her enough! I know Murphy was well cared for, had a blast and learned so much during the 2 weeks. Gabby kept us in the loop with her detailed notes in our daily check ins and videos, and was very thorough and helpful during our pick up lesson. Look no further if you’re looking for a board and train program!

Gabby was amazing with our dog Rocky! I'm so impressed at how far he came with his leash walking in just 1 week of training. We trusted her with our fur baby and she didn't let us down. Very professional and knowledgeable, but most important she cared for Rocky like he was her own. Can't recommend her enough!

We cannot recommend Maggie at Off Leash K9 Training enough! She recently completed a two-week board-and-train with our Lagotto Romagnolo, Gibson, and the results have exceeded every expectation we had. Gibson is an incredibly intelligent, high-energy dog, and we knew from the beginning that simply teaching obedience wasn't going to be enough. Maggie took the time to understand him as an individual and gave us so much more than training. She helped us understand why he behaves the way he does and gave us countless ideas for healthy outlets for his energy. She recommended activities like dock diving, dog sports, scent work, structured play, and other forms of mental and physical enrichment that are a perfect fit for his breed. It was obvious she truly wanted Gibson to thrive, not just behave. The biggest transformation has been on our walks. Before training, Gibson pulled constantly and walking him could be exhausting. Now he walks beautifully in a heel right beside me, responds when I say "Let's go" to change directions, and is so much more attentive. Walking him has become something I genuinely enjoy instead of something I dreaded. Maggie didn't just train Gibson. She trained our family, too. She gave us a simple, consistent system of commands and markers that makes communicating with him so much easier. Gibson now confidently responds to sit, down, place, heel, come, break, and off, and she taught us exactly how to reinforce those behaviors using markers like "yes," "good," and "no." Instead of just sending us home with a trained dog, she equipped us with the knowledge and confidence to continue his training for the rest of his life. What impressed us most was how much Maggie truly cared about Gibson. Throughout the two weeks, she kept us updated with pictures, videos, and progress reports, so we always knew how he was doing. It was obvious that she treated him like one of her own, and Gibson absolutely adored her. The change in Gibson has been incredible. He's still the happy, goofy dog we love, but now he's calmer, more focused, and understands what is expected of him. We know training is a lifelong commitment, but thanks to Maggie, we finally have the foundation and tools to help him succeed. If you're considering dog training, don't hesitate. Maggie is patient, knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly exceptional at what she does. We are beyond grateful for everything she has done for Gibson and our family. Thank you, Maggie, for giving us a better relationship with our dog. It has truly been one of the best investments we've made.
