Yet again another disappointment with this place. Made an appointment for my cat online. Once again I medicated my cat and made my way out the door with my 1 year old grandson and my cat. I get here and the receptionist lies to me about leaving me a message. Then when I check my messages and have nothing from her, she says my voicemail was full, which is a lie. The point is they can't see my cat at the appointment time and I'm not available later. This is the 3rd time in the last 30 days they've wasted my time after I medicated my cat, found time in my busy schedule and made my way out the door with my 1 year old grandson.

My fur baby had a slit below the side of his mouth. Dr. Ewing saw him. She said it couldn't be sewn up bc he has a heart murmur. She said the slit would heal up on its own. It started looking worse. I took him back. Dr. Ewing said I told you. It will take awhile for it to heal. I also asked her if she would wipe stuff running from his eyes. She said no that's not what you came here for. I took him to another Vet. I was told he had mouth cancer. It was to far advanced. I was told I would know when it was time to have my baby put to sleep. 10 days later it was the end of my babies journey. I had him put to sleep. My lost my best friend. He's all I had. My heart is broken. If Dr. Ewing had been pro active. It could have been diagnosed in advance. These are the photos of his mouth.

Dr. Otero explained the dental procedure and post-procedure in perfect Spanish. Additionally, Dr. Otero addressed other issues my dog has. Madeline was kind and went into detail about Petra’s medication after surgery.

Moved to Durham from Cornelius and Banfield Southpoint has taken care of my dogs just as well as the Banfield in Cornelius.

My dog and I were greeted in a timely manner. Folks are friendly and attentive. General checkup and a couple of vaccinations. Went well and the Dr very patiently answered all of our questions. Will definitely continue to use their services!
