  one star because you cant leave none, people that work at petco are very rude and snubby dont like your job then quit, i dont recommend this place or any other petco i have 2 bearded dragons they need worms and crickets every time i get them from a petco they dont last 24 hours and way to expensive, i live in benson and i will keep driving to garner to go to petsmart because their quality is better and cheaper and friendly

  This Petco has always been my go-to, and I have generally had positive experiences here in the past. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. After getting everything I needed for my animals, I went to check out and had to wait because two employees were involved in a workplace disagreement. One of the employees was aggressively confronting her coworker directly in front of me and other customers. The situation was tense and uncomfortable to witness. Regardless of what the disagreement was about, I feel that addressing a coworker in that manner, especially in front of customers, was highly unprofessional and inappropriate. Customers should not have to stand in line and watch employees argue or feel caught in the middle of a workplace conflict. What made the experience even more disappointing was that this occurred in a store where I have regularly chosen to shop for my animals. I understand that employees can have disagreements and difficult days, but there is a time and place for those conversations, and handling them publicly in front of customers left a very poor impression. I hope management takes this situation seriously and ensures that workplace conflicts are handled privately and professionally in the future. I would normally have nothing but positive things to say about this location, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I cannot give more than one star review.

  Staff has always been fairly friendly and the store is pretty clean and organized… my complaint is with the pet wash station. I’ve took my dog there several times for a bath over the past 6 months and every it’s the same issues. The lights overhead are constantly flickering and gets to the point that it makes me nauseous. There are never any towels on the rack so I always have to hunt down an employee for towels. My biggest issue is the hose. It has been damaged for months on end. The hose is busted near the handle and they have covered the hole with some sort of tape. If you aren’t careful and you move the hose just right you will end up soaking yourself. I said I’d start going to Petsense but it was recently announced that they will be closing. Of course petco has put them out of business. It seems that a company as big as Petco would care enough to fix issues like flickering lights and a busted nose… they are making $10 per wash.

  Employees are helpful. The fact that the buy it online and pick it up in store is half the shelf price is moronic. I can buy it and goto the store and get it but if I goto the store and buy it the price is double. Yes I could have bought it online and watched an employee go get it off the shelf and hand it to me is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. The price should be the same for something you can get shipped to you or carried in the store.
