- VFV Flo3 days ago2.0only care about money..took my dog in for an ear infection, came a couple weeks later for a follow up and the tech was like “aw poor guy! they’re looking better though! would you like for me to wipe some of this gunk out?” I said sure because I’m thinking that should just be part of the follow up anyway. when it was time to pay, I saw they tried to charge me an extra $50 for ear cleaning. Pretty sure they just stretched my appointments out as long as they could, finding new reasons for me to come back in. One ear infection ended up costing me over $1000 at this vet. The vet/owner is NEVER there and told me he preferred e-mailing me regarding care, but he eventually just stopped responding to me. Also, you can only get prescription food from places they approve, probably because they get a kickback. They would often forget to approve my prescription (despite multiple calls/voicemails/emails) and since I could only order it through them and a couple of other places. My dog would have to go off of the food they prescribed, leading to more issues. If you care about your pet and your wallet, please look elsewhere!
