  We have had nothing but great experiences here! we moved to the area, thinking that finding a vet that offers the care our dog needs would be difficult, but every staff member is so kind from front desk, to Dr. Hight. Our first exam was very thorough and they addressed all of our questions, and needs. We have a very anxious dog who has never done well at vet appointments, and has not had a successful nail trim since he was a puppy. They offer sedation for nail trims, which have been the biggest challenge with our anxious dog. Being able to get his nails all trimmed up without him being beyond stressed is seriously life changing. Could not recommend this clinic enough!!

  Dr. Hight has been my cats vet for 18 yrs now. If it wasn’t for him, my cat wouldn’t be alive. Over the years, my cat has had urinary obstructive disorder, hyperthyroidism, chronic kidney disease and high blood pressure. Dr. Hight always takes his time with us, explaining clinical observations— never feel rushed and always assesses my cat in the same room. I always feel like my concerns are valued and respected. He will refer us to a specialist if it’s out of his scope of practice. I’ve taken my cat to the cardiologist to ensure his heart was strong enough for anesthesia for teeth cleaning/removal. Dr. Hight heard a heart murmur and wanted to make sure his heart was good to go first! My cat did have a heart murmur- but not as high of a grade as we thought and it was physiologically related. Better be safe than sorry. Anyways, I moved away and drive 45-50 mins for vet visits now bc I can’t find anyone else like Dr. Hight and his staff. Yes, even the staff are wonderful! They always answer the phone and respond d to emails. They also return phone calls in a timely manner. Always respectful. Everyone just cares! 10/10 Edit: Just went to Dr. Matheson for the first time and he is just as compassionate as Dr. Hight. I didn’t realize it, but Dr. Matheson stayed 1 hour after closing to care for my cat. Like I’ve said, everyone in this office cares.

  All three of my girls were welcomed and doted on by the staff. We got put into an exam room super quickly. Carly (I think that’s how you spell her name) was super sweet and amazing, very personable. Her and Dr. Hight were such an amazing help and very knowledgeable. The prices are very agreeable and similar to what I had paid in Fayetteville compared to other clinics in Charlotte/University area. 10/10 would love to come here again and highly recommend. Bonus! My cats actually came out to explore a bit which is a first!
