Bad communication. I called ahead to let them know I went to the wrong location and would be about 8 minutes late, and the staff member on the phone said 'no worries.' When I arrived with my cat, I was suddenly told the doctor needed to leave early and they couldn't see us. Could have told me that on the phone.

I would not recommend this Banfield location to anyone dealing with a sick, elderly, or declining pet. If I could give zero stars I would.
Maybe this location is adequate if your pet is perfectly healthy and only needs routine vaccines or basic preventative care. But if you have a pet you deeply love who is actively declining, I would strongly urge you to go somewhere else.
Our 13-year-old dog became lethargic, stopped eating normally, and was clearly deteriorating. Despite that, there was an alarming lack of urgency, compassion, follow-up, and communication. We had to push for pain medication. We had to push for an ultrasound because we were not comfortable simply waiting 30 days to see whether liver medication helped. The ultrasound then had to be performed twice, and it took approximately 11 days to get results while our senior dog continued to decline.
We repeatedly tried to reach the veterinary team because we were scared and watching her get worse. Eventually, we lost confidence in this location entirely and took her to another veterinarian for a completely new evaluation.
Less than two weeks after this ordeal began, we had to make a heartbreaking decision.
I am fully aware that veterinarians cannot save every elderly or critically ill animal. That is not the point of this review. The point is that when a family is watching their beloved pet deteriorate, they should not have to repeatedly chase a veterinary office for basic communication, advocate for appropriate symptom management, and beg for diagnostics to be taken seriously.
The level of care and communication we experienced was unacceptable. In my opinion, the handling of our dog's final weeks represented some of the poorest veterinary care we have ever experienced.
If your pet is healthy, perhaps your experience will be different. But if your animal is sick, elderly, or declining and you need a veterinary team that will communicate, show urgency, and treat your concerns seriously, I would go elsewhere.
Our dog deserved better than what she received here, and I deeply regret trusting this location with such an important and irreversible period of her life.

We have been bringing our senior dog to a banfield since he was 9 months old, so this is not based on one bad visit. We have watched what used to be an excellent veterinary practice turn into what now feels like a high-volume revolving door.
The care here used to be exceptional. The vets knew our dog, knew his history, and there was actual continuity. That is no longer the case.
The veterinarian turnover is ridiculous. Every visit feels like meeting someone new and giving a PowerPoint presentation on our dog's medical history. We have spent well over a year trying to troubleshoot recurring health issues, yet we constantly have to re-explain symptoms, previous testing, medications, and what has already been ruled out.
Apparently, after being a patient somewhere for nearly your entire life, you can still somehow arrive as a stranger.
For a young, healthy dog needing vaccines, maybe this assembly-line model works. For a senior dog with complicated medical concerns? Absolutely not.
Our dog now needs a procedure requiring anesthesia. Because of his age, we take that risk seriously. After bringing him here since he was 9 months old, you would think we would have a veterinarian we know and trust enough to place his life in their hands.
We don't.
The inconsistency extends to the staff as well. Calling the office has become its own adventure. Will someone helpful answer? Will you be put on hold and forgotten? Will you have to call back and follow up multiple times? Who knows.
The only person I can consistently praise is Lauren, one of the veterinary technicians. She is thorough, professional, personable, and genuinely seems to care.
And then there is Banfield's **Wellness Plan**.
They are very concerned with getting you enrolled and collecting that monthly payment. But God forbid the quality of care deteriorates to the point that you no longer feel comfortable allowing them to treat your animal. In our experience, there is suddenly very little flexibility when you want out.
We no longer trust this practice enough to have our senior dog anesthetized here, so we are moving his care elsewhere. Yet we are still expected to keep paying for the Wellness Plan.
So now we get to pay another veterinarian to properly care for our dog while continuing to send Banfield money for services we no longer trust enough to use. What a wonderful, unethical system.
In my opinion, Banfield corporate seems far more committed to retaining recurring revenue than retaining the trust of pet owners or quality staff.
We stayed far longer than we should have because we remembered what this practice used to be. Unfortunately, nostalgia does not provide good medical care.
If you want a veterinarian who actually knows your animal, understands their history, and gives you confidence when serious medical decisions need to be made, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
We brought our dog here from 9 months old into his senior years and are leaving at the stage when he needs them most feeling like nobody there actually knows him.
Banfield will still happily keep charging us, though.
That should tell you everything you need to know.

The staff is uncommunicative and does not follow through on commitments, placing pets’ health at risk.
Calls are not returned despite promises for the veterinarian and staff to follow up with test results and medical options.
Requests to approve prescriptions are ignored and promises to approve prescription requests are not honored, further endangering pets’ health.
Services promised under the wellness plans are not rendered and there is no option to cancel without incurring added fees.

Dropped off my dog for 4+ hours per the appointment discussed, and vet Courtnye Jackson did not address the primary, or even any, concerns I had during the visit. She was also extremely rude and unprofessional during pickup. I would not return to this location and I would absolutely not recommend her for caring for your pet based on a lack of compassion and care for my pet in pain.
