I was lucky enough to have been chosen to be Ev’s (Evan) mama, who was a patient at this specific hospital for his last couple years. A special thank you to Dr. Anderson, for listening to all of my concerns, and being the best veterinarian I have ever had for Evan. Thank you for not only treating Ev, but having his best interest in mind. I appreciate Dr. Anderson’s ability to not only think logically and critically, but provide the best care she could during my baby’s last moments. She truly made me feel seen as a worried dog mom and helped make this difficult time feel a little less hard. I knew my baby was in pain, and she did not question my judgement, but reassured me I was making the correct decision with my baby’s quality of life in mind. You can evidently see Dr. Anderson was called to be in this profession by how she treats her patients and their families. She is exceptional. I can not say thank you enough for making one of the hardest moments less scary for me and my baby, Ev. ❤️

They offer a PREDATORY OWP, Wellness plan then out you in collections if you try to cancel EVEN after they tell u when your plans up and you then wait and call to cancel and they give another fake date. AVOID at all costs. Absolute shakedown, beware and feel free to contact me for any facts, or try it yourself and enjoy the scam.

So far, so good. Lovely staff, very good explanations. Our cat is happy there. Although Pet HI costs the same as ours!

My 10:00 AM appointment at Banfield Pet Hospital turned into a full-day hostage situation and nobody even warned me. They told me it would be about $500 (already wild), but didn’t bother to update me on anything — not the wait time, not the delay, not even a “hey, we’re still alive back here.” Nothing. I finally had to ask THEM how much longer, and that’s when they casually hit me with: “Oh yeah, it’ll be another three hours.” At 12:30. If someone had told me from the start, I wouldn’t have spent my whole morning pacing around the area like a lost Sim waiting for a path to clear. The communication? Zero stars. The wait time? Eternal. Me? Stronger, older, and now apparently $500 poorer. Honestly, I’ve had better updates from tracking a package that’s “stuck in transit.” Would not recommend unless you enjoy guessing games, surprise charges, and spiritual waiting-room journeys.

During my earlier visits, for one reason or another, I have almost always ended up paying out of pocket—regardless of which wellness plan I was enrolled in. Because of those past experiences, during today’s visit I was very careful not to add any services beyond a routine vaccine that should have been fully covered under my wellness plan. At check-in, I was asked to pay for the vaccine. When I pointed out that I was enrolled in a wellness plan, I was told that the previous vaccine had been administered a few weeks early, and therefore, in order to receive the vaccine again, I would need to renew my wellness plan. That renewal was something I would have done anyway when it was actually due in about 2 weeks. I specifically asked the staff member at check-in whether the renewal would begin on the original plan’s natural expiration date, and I was explicitly told that it would. However, after the visit, when I received the renewal paperwork, the renewal date was listed as today’s date—not the original expiration date. As a result, I once again lost coverage time. Over the past four years on their wellness plan, I have now lost approximately six weeks of coverage because renewals are effectively forced early through advanced vaccines and wellness checks. This practice feels misleading and leaves customers paying for time they never actually receive. In summary, while the wellness plans are marketed as cost-saving, the way renewals are handled has repeatedly resulted in lost coverage time and unexpected out-of-pocket costs, making the program difficult to trust. Note: With auto insurance, renewing early does not shorten the policy term—the renewal always takes effect after the current policy expires. It is difficult to understand why a wellness plan renewal should be handled any differently.
