  Mixed up dogs vaccines and clipped his nails too short. Was extremely rude while our dog was dying. They also have a technician who was threatening to call animal control on my dog, being pushy and aggressive with him, and tightening his slip leash while he wasn’t showing any type of aggressive behaviors nor moving so he thought he was doing something wrong licking the lick mat and got even more anxious. The technician then decided to keep arguing with me after I said we were done, and was being hostile. When I got upset and asked her to stop interrupting and talking to me, the doctor came in and did not remove her from the situation. Instead he let her continue to argue, talk over me, and make faces at me while saying it didn’t happen, while I was trying to talk to the doctor. This made the conversation unproductive , and unsafe since she was standing there arguing and was not asked to leave. This has been a pattern for a year now with bad table manners, and mixing up our dogs vaccinations & not providing real fear free care. When they were contacted about mixing up vaccinations, being hostile during our dogs death, and now this incident, they didn’t respond and did not care for the feedback We provided and did not care for the resources I offered to link straight from the fear free certification program about handling anxious dogs, and also handling owners who just were told something was wrong with their dog. Super careless and unfortunately after years of staying within this practice, we have lost all trust in them since they do not have any intentions of firing the technicians who messed up the meds, or the techs who demonstrated unprofessional hostility and aggressive behaviors.

  Dr.Duncan and his team have provided phenomenal care to our kitties, are very kind, understanding and explain everything in a way that is helpful informative and easy to understand. We make a little longer of a drive for our kitties appointments because it is worth the care they provide.

  Wonderful place! They loved my sweet Mela and handled her with care. Answered all my questions and helped calmed my nerves! Definitely recommend.

  I don't know what we would do without Animal Hospital of North Asheville. Dr.Cody, the techs, all of the front office and anyone we've ever come into contact with there, are absolutely amazing! Our sweet pup has a complex liver condition that has no known diagnosis, meaning we are a very "needy" pet family. The patience, help, professionalism and above all, kindness at North Asheville has meant the world! We were told by a University veterinary school that our little Marco shouldn't have survived the litter and it's a miracle that he had made it to 7.5 months as a happy and playful puppy. We are now almost to 11 months and he is growing (53lbs!) still playful and such a loving fella. I have no doubt that had it not been for Dr.Cody being his primary vet and seeing us through so many mystery symptoms and illnesses, Marco wouldn't be the growing boy he is today. I would recommend Animal Hospital of North Asheville to ANYONE that has a fur baby. 🤗

  My dog Dale was exhibiting signs of discomfort. I was able to call Dr. Cody and the wonderful people at NORTH ASHEVILLE ANIMAL HOSPITAL Welcomed to me to come in immediately. Within minutes, the wonderful Vet techs and Dr. Cody had quelled my fears. They got Dale into x-ray, quickly they got back to me about what the x-rays found and by the end of the day they got Dale feeling better and on the path to Healing. I cannot thank these people enough and I recommend them highly. This is beside the point, but Dr. Cody and his team said, “we want to be Upfront about the possible pricing. They gave me a basic estimation and then after this estimation they did so many other great things that got Gayle back to being able to come home with me. I only say this because they do not take advantage of you and they only do all they can so that you and your pets can enjoy each other’s company. My family and friends are very grateful for how devoted, helpful and compassionate this team is.
