  We have had excellent care from the docs at AHMA over many years. They care for our dogs and cats and they have a lovely group of doctors. They are warm and thorough and go out of their way to check on the animals if there is something going on. Dr. Cody has taken care of us for the last two years and he is warm, grounded and loves the animals he cares for. The staff is accommodating as well, and recently helped with some paperwork we needed, going out of their way to make sure it was correct. Thank you Dr. Cody and AHNA.

  Animal Hospital North has taken excellent care of my cat as well as a friend's cat. I have received top quality care and compassion for my animals here. Vet care is expensive but having the privilege of providing the best for your animal family is of the highest importance. Every visit, my cat is given the highest attention 🤩

  Dr Cody Pfister is by far the best vet I have ever visited. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I will be recommending him to anyone I know for pet care, and I couldn’t be more great for how he cares for the animals and guides their care takers through difficult decisions.

  Dra.Castro was so professional,kind,compasive and attentive.She help my family with our puppy.Staff are so friendly Place was clean and cute. I highly recommended and definetely I will come back with my two others dogs

  Most everyone here is fantastic; caring , compassionate, extremely competent. I had an unfortunate experience when one of their front desk staff tried to shame me on a Saturday when I wanted to bring my dog in for an urgent visit. It was an upsetting call while I was very worried about my dog. I ended up at North Asheville and then Saves all night. But he didn't even want to give me an appointment. He was rude and condescending. This was my final straw after not being able to opt out of heartworm testing for my dogs who have been on heartguard/nexgard since they were puppies. Eight years, no misses. Other vets allow signing a waiver. They did not and it did not sit right with me that I had that choice taken from me. Or that they would (and did) deny the prescription altogether, which puts my dogs at a greater risk than staying on Heartguard continuously without testing. Not trying to slam them. As I said, most everyone here is fantastic. I felt compelled to share why I left this practice.
