The actual vets that work here are great. Everything else about this place sucks bc of the technicians that run it. They’re rude and just don’t do their job or have any manners of how to treat a customer. Only continue coming due to vets.

Rebuttal of review comments by owner or office manager. You are mistaken. Dr. Kerr never followed up with us. We never were rude we did give constructive feedback to you and your staff. No call was made from Dr. Kerr to go over Bella’s annual. Zilch communication from them except for “you’re dropped”. How would they evaluate the dogs when bringing them out and why would they admit fault? I’d be careful choosing them for your vet. ——-original review below——- Customer since 2009 - long review of this "veterinary clinic" Upon dropping off for boarding our 2 dogs/children were of steady health and had no limps and bowels were solid. Our bigger dog was to have her annual and we were to be informed via a phone call which we never received and even called to check on and was told a doctor had to discharge her before we were told the results. Upon picking them up on Monday 4/20 around 10am I was not talked to by a doctor about the annual or was our dog properly discharged (I got the rabies tag but that's all), but I was presented with a rude receptionist who complained that Bella wouldn't potty for her on a rainy day. I tried to ease the conversation and was ignored. I had to request help loading our bigger dog as I have a tweaked back and this seemed to put them off, but this is also when I self-examine them but couldn’t do it this time because of needing assistance loading the bigger dog up. Our Bella didn’t seem happy as she always is and Gizmo was whiny all the way home. Got home and Bella had bad limp, they cut her quick when trimming nails, plus she had bad diarrhea. Gizmo (11lb MinPin) was whiny and tense- he has a slipped disc in his neck area and was favoring his neck area, Bella didn't act or look like herself - I waited until Tuesday to make sure all was ok, before asking them about it via email. They both were not themselves. I sent an email asking for explanation of what had happened – email I sent is below. "You all hurt Bella trimming her nails. She can barely walk. I’m not happy about this and they weren’t taken to potty before I picked them up yesterday. The lady up front seemed to have an attitude as well when I tried to joke with her about a discount. Now I’m wondering do I need a discount for how badly Bella is hurting?" About 10 minutes after sending email, I got a call from the Office Manager at Gluckstadt Animal Hospital (wish I could remember her name) and was informed we were being dropped as customers based on them "thinking" I was unhappy, well I was and am but I wanted answers as to what happened and of course no one is taking responsibility for it. I have yet to hear from "owner" to confirm this was his decision. Bella is still having bad diarrhea, and we still do not have answers. We discovered Bella was over fed and Gizmo was under fed. Even with instructions on the food container on how to feed them. Ever since being sold out the clinic has been mismanaged but since we were one of his 1st clients we stuck it out until now. Truth be told we should have left in September 2024 when they put our other dog down and completely messed up along with pricing and we felt taken advantage of during our grief, yet again we gave them the benefit of the doubt. 4/27/2026 I waited a week to write this to make sure both dogs got better, now I am tasked with paying for the "services" they supposedly performed and finding a new vet and paying them as well.

This was supposed to be our first visit here, but it ended up being a complete waste of time. I called ahead to let the receptionist know we were running behind for my dog’s appointment. She told me “okay, I’ll see you when you get here,” and never mentioned anything about a 15-minute grace period. When we arrived, we took a moment to walk our dog so he could use the restroom and be comfortable before going inside. The receptionist actually saw when we pulled up, but once we came in she said they couldn’t see him because we were past the 15-minute window and claimed we didn’t come in soon enough. It was frustrating because that policy was never communicated during the call. A little transparency and clearer communication would have saved us the trip.

I cannot say enough good things about Gluckstadt Animal Hospital. My 10-year-old Beagle has struggled with chronic ear infections for a long time. I took her to two different vet clinics in Rankin County, and despite multiple visits, her ears never fully cleared up. After just one visit to Gluckstadt, her ears are the clearest they’ve been in years. The difference was unbelievable. They were thorough, knowledgeable, and actually addressed the root of the problem instead of just treating symptoms. Thank you, Glickstadt Animal Hospital, for finally fixing my girl and giving her some much-needed relief. We are so grateful! 🐶❤️

I have had numerous rescue dogs pass through their doors. They have done yearly checks, treated two successfully for heart worms, saved one little boxer’s life (had stomach issues for a year under a different vet clinic’s care) , Dr Sturdivant had him well in 2weeks) I have boarded many times without incident. They all love on my dogs when I am there!! Photos are my dogs currently cared for.
