From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed, cared for, and reassured that our fur babies were in great hands. The entire team was kind, patient, professional, and genuinely loving toward both of our dogs. As pet parents, there is nothing more important than knowing your babies are receiving the best care possible, and Banfield truly made our visit a wonderful experience! 🐶🐾 Our dogs are family, and we are so grateful to have a veterinary team that treats them with love, compassion, and patience. She has been so wonderful in caring for Milo, especially when it comes to keeping him comfortable and managing his joint health as a senior dog. Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Gant has a remarkable gift for connecting with the people who walk through her door. She is endlessly patient, empathetic, and always makes sure my mind is at ease during our visits. It is such a relief to trust your dog’s care to someone who treats them like their own.

- CBCathy BryantSep 6, 20261.0I was in September 6th with my sheltie that had a toe amputation this week. The doctor called me with an outrageous amount and was rude. She looked at his foot and did nothing 1 antibiotic just 1 pill was was $29.99 some powder to keep the foot dry was $57.00. Then they brought him out on one of their slips leads with his foot unwrapped after an amputation on their filthy floor. It doesn’t get anymore unsanitary than this. I call the vet back and she had the nerve to say she never treated him. How do they stay in business! Do not use this vet.
- AFannette fantasiaJul 11, 20265.0Been using Banfield across the USA for almost 17 years. (2 schnauzers) I can almost unilaterally say how ALL Banfields treated my 2 dogs like family. I also have used the Banfield Wellness program for both my dogs AGAIN across the US. Yes I am well aware that sometimes somewhere even vets have a bad day. With that said, the way my husband & I travel (Motorhome full timers) they have always provided our dogs with the utmost in care. Btw absolutely LOVE the staff at the Gulf Port MS Banfield. But must admit the on in Saratoga Springs, NY also a perfect 10 & the one in Albuquerque NM super etc, if you all get my point. Also the convenience of a super website, 24 hr Phone conversations if necessary & easy refills of meds.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.

What preventive pet health care services does Banfield offer?
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including:

• Nutritional Counseling
• Behavioral Counseling
• Comprehensive Examinations
What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
