- SLStephanie LiuOct 3, 20261.0DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO DIE! My dog has been part on the Banfield membership since she was a puppy. She’s gone for teeth cleanings every single year and she was 12 when she went in this year and did not come back. Because they decided to pull 7 teeth out at once and their lack of attention when she came out of anesthesia was supposedly the reason she didn’t make it. They knew she was struggling and still turned away and left her unattended. That is when she died. Who knows what the truth actually is, I hope this can save any pet parent from losing their loved one and the same way.

- CWChris WalkerSep 22, 20262.0I booked an appointment for my sick cat for 9/22 with confirmation and a screenshot. When I went in they said they were to busy and did not have my appointment. The receptionist went in and ask the doctor Doss who is the doctor on my screenshot and they said they did not have the time today. This was frustrating but I guess things happen. I said I would try to book another appointment using the web page to insure I did it correctly. I went home and booked another appointment (in which there were many slots) for 9/23. Got the confirmation and the email confirmation. I was left a message saying this appointment was cancelled because they did not have any slots available. Seems really unprofessional to have this portal is non of the slots are available. Seems like there are management issues at this location and I will going elsewhere at this point.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
