  I can always find exactly what I need here. My only issue would be staff. I feel they are not as attentive nor care what im looking for. To be honest it feels like it stems from management. Management could encourage interaction and relationship building. Whenever I get to check out associates are great which means they are good but are too busy tasking to tend to customers on floor which stems from being understaffed. When at a pet supply store where people need genuine help taking care of new pets. It is necessary to have not only educated but engaged employees.

  Every time I come to this location, I have the longest wait to checkout. There is either no one at the register or they are having long conversations with customers about products or care. I understand that is apart of their job. However , there should still be someone attending to customers who want to checkout. I have had to go around hunting for a cashier several times. I have also been told I need to wait while an employee cleans or something. That should be done while there are no customers who need to checkout. This location is extremely close to my home. Unfortunately, I will now just have to drive the extra miles to Pet Supply. They always have someone attending the checkout counter.

  Made an appointment for a same day grooming. Our dog was recently diagnosed with a heart murmur but when I checked that she has a heart murmur on the grooming forms ahead of time, nothing flagged it as a problem. We got a call right after booking it that I could bring her early. So I dropped what I was doing, got the dog ready, and took her in. When we arrived, the girl at the desk asked if she had any medical conditions. I mentioned the heart murmur and that I noted it on her check in forms. She checked with the groomer who said they were unable to take anything above a level one heart murmur without a note from the vet. Why is this not noted during the pre-check in process when I said she had a heart murmur? Our dog is an older pup with severe car anxiety. I’m upset that I stressed her out for absolutely nothing. Time wasted. I won’t be back.

  Great variety of treat and dog food. Staff was friendly and the store was super clean and organized.

  This Petco location has always seemed to be the worst in the area. I was wandering the strip mall with my little brother and had to steer him away from the multiple dead fish in the wall of tanks and explain that a few fancy goldfish in the tank with koi were "not feeling good" (they were dying from very obvious cases of Ich, and laying at the bottom of the tank which was directly at eye level to my brother). The guinea pigs also had absolutely no hay which is something they need 24/7 and the bearded dragon tanks were filthy.
