  My review on this store is long overdue haha. I recently moved to Maplewood 7 months ago and came upon this pet store and fell in love with the place. My picky cats love the food items sold here and every single employee is approachable, knowledgeable and just great people in general. Best local pet store in Saint Louis by far. #ShopLocal

  I had an incredible experience at the locally owned "The Heathly Pet House" pet thanks to their knowledgeable and friendly staff. Tony spent two full hours with me — yes, two hours — helping me understand the results of my dog's hair sensitivity test so I could figure out which foods to avoid and which foods would be best for her. He walked me through different types of food, ingredients, and options without ever making me feel rushed or overwhelmed. What really stood out was how knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested he was in helping me create a coordinated approach to improving my dog’s health both inside and out. It’s rare to find this level of customer service and care anymore. Tony went far above and beyond, and I left feeling informed, supported, and hopeful. If you need guidance for your pet, this is absolutely the place to go.

  Amazing selection of food for both cats & dogs. They carry all the brands you wont see at your Big Box Pet Srores. The owner is extremely knowledgeable & seems to care deeply about pet health & quality of life. They have a decent selection of dog toys & a growing cat toy selection. They offer grooming in the back & every one Ive seen leaving their grooming looks so good & seems happy. Definitely a great local alternative for most of your pets needs.
