Founded in 1870, we are the largest animal welfare organization in the region, offering dogs, cats and "critters" who are looking for the second chance they deserve for adoption. We also are home to the Animal Cruelty Taskforce, on call 24-7 to rescue animals who are being abused or neglected. We are not affiliated with any other organization, and are funded solely through private donations. Our available pets are on our website, which is updated hourly. Thank you for loving animals as much as we do!
