  My dog Macy is always excited to come for a bath. She comes every other Friday and has for years. Her groomer Tony is the best. He does so good with her. We've been using Tony since he has been there. He's great with all the dogs he grooms. He's the reason we keep coming back.

  We recently used PetCo grooming for the first time. The online booking process was easy, but the overall experience was disappointing. The groomer we originally selected during booking was no longer actively grooming, so our dogs were assigned to someone else. Of the cuts offered, my husband requested the “summer cut.” I called shortly after drop-off to ask a few clarifying questions, but no one answered and my voicemail was never returned. As a result, both dogs — a Shih Tzu and a Havapoo — were clipped much shorter than expected. Their ears and tails were left long as described for the summer cut, but overall, they looked uneven and not especially well-brushed. They also didn’t have that freshly groomed smell, although they did appear clean. We dropped the dogs off at 9:30 a.m. and were told they’d be ready around 2 p.m., but we didn’t receive a text until 2:45 p.m. (Our previous groomer took no more than 3 hours to fully groom both dogs.) We also weren’t informed that leashes wouldn’t be kept at the store after drop-off. Since my husband dropped them off and I picked them up, I had no leashes available when leaving the store, which made an already stressful situation harder. Most concerning was our Havapoo’s behavior afterward. He seemed unusually anxious and withdrawn and had accidents in the house shortly after getting home, which is not typical for him. While he did not appear physically injured, he definitely seemed stressed by the experience. While the staff were generally pleasant, we will not be using PetCo's grooming service again.

  Crystal always does a great job with Ruby. I really appreciate her taking such good care of my precious baby.
