My silly dog chewed up my albuterol inhaler on a Sunday morning. Despite the full parking lot, and I'm sure some critical patients, everyone stepped up and took great care of my boy. I felt confident with their treatment plan, the collaboration with the animal poison control center's toxicologist, and the staff's ability. The techs and the vet were empathetic, compassionate and kept me informed. I received updates when promised, and Hank is back home, healthy and happy. Thank you!

This was an absolutely awful experience. I had to bring my dog in at 4 o’clock in the morning. The tech that finally came to the front door did not introduce herself, she just said OK let me take your baby. I said I want to speak to a veterinarian. I don’t want you to take my dog in the back until we have a conversation about what’s going on. She got puffy and upset and said OK come into this room. Then another tech came in. They suggested putting IV in. Finally the veterinarian came in. No one introduced themselves. No one was asking appropriate questions about the history about what was going on with my dog. The vet asked me a total of four or five questions. When I ask more questions, she really didn’t have an answer. I told them I wanted to take him to my regular veterinarian when they opened in the morning and make a decision about end of life. They would not leave the IV catheter in place. And the veterinarian did not even come back out into the waiting room to talk about the estimate that she had created. She did not even have the decency to talk about plan of care and what my options were. She just refused to have a decent conversation with me. Very poor customer service. She never even told me her name. The receptionist went over the invoice with me. And I asked what the doctor‘s name was. And she told me. Labounty. She’s not on the website. They charge me $250 for a an “exam”. Extremely overpriced and very terrible customer service. Do not recommend.

I normally go to VSS, but they were super busy, and had to end up here. I brought my cat here as he was straining to defecate, not eating, and hiding. We had to wait four hours, only for them to say he had diarrhea. They said they’d clean him (they didn’t), they said they’d give him fluids (doubting that happened?), and gave us a probiotic. Since then, he’s still been having major problems. Took him to my normal vet today, and they immediately x-rayed him. He’s SUPER constipated and has to stay overnight because I essentially paid $300 for nothing to this emergency clinic. He could have died, and suffered for a week and a half due to this negligence.

Saved our dogs life It was every pet owners nightmare - waking up at 4AM to find your dogs kennel full of blood. No explanation, on a Saturday. I called ahead of time so they were expecting us. It was early and they took her back right away. She was in a poor state and needed to be hospitalized. The receptionist helped us go over financing and went out of her way to help us consider every angle. Offering us coffee and tissues. While we considered options and ran tests she went critical - her body shutting down. We almost lost her. But the vets and staff? Calm, professional, responding instantly. We went back to see her for what we thought was the last time. They were able to stabilize her with utmost care. I couldn’t have trusted anyone else to have cared for her. Leaving her there was hard — but they cared for my baby and acted with her best interests. They treated her with love, affection, and respect. She got all the care she needed and thanks to them — My dog is alive today.
