  The products are ok. What you'd normally expect at this type place. The guy at the register was kind enough, but he talked me into joining their "plan"... I told him I wanted to discuss it with my husband first, because I had recently lost my job. He positively assured me that I could cancel it AT ANY TIME!! He said that I wouldn't be charged until after the first month. That it would be $15 a month or so. So, I went ahead and let him sign me up. The next day, I decided, after talking to my husband, that it wasn't something I wanted. I went in and tried to cancel it in the app where he said I could. It wouldn't let me. I called the number they gave me and was told that I was locked in for 12 months!!! After telling them what he told me and going around and around, they finally let me cancel it. For this reason, I very likely won't be returning to the store again, nor will I recommend it to ANYONE I know. This is not very good customer service and should not be tolerated. He outright lied to me about the program and rules.

  Normally I do my shopping at the Barry location since it's closest to Costco, but lately I've been shopping here. I adore most of the staff here and always learning something new when I come in. Naomi specifically has been amazing and so knowledgeable. Recently, I became a cat Mom after finding an orphan kitten. I had been shopping weekly for formula at the Barry location, until a couple weeks ago. Naomi saw me with the kitty in his little bag and immediately started conversation with me about him. I was so grateful to have had this interaction because this is my first experience with a kitten. Naomi shared so much knowledge with me and even helped me get my disabled dog on a new supplement that I have seen some improvement with! She helped me navigate the Petco app and we even added Oliver (kitty) to the Premier perks Plan! I have dealt with other great employees there in the past and everyone has always seemed so much full of knowledge compared to the other Petco stores I have shopped at.

  Friendly staff, and a wide selection of pet supplies. The only drawback would be the prices. Some items can be a little pricey in comparison to stores like Tractor Supply or Walmart.
