  We were hunting for a royal gramma. They had a nice one and we had to get it. Nicest saltwater section of the 3 northland Petco locations. Tanks were nicely cared for. Fish were active and healthy. 10/10 Staff as well!

  Wonderful customer care. The young man at the counter was incredibly helpful and informative to my 10 year old as they asked questions about their new fish. She had saved her money and wanted to get a fish & some accessories for her tank. Unfortunately there was an old price tag on one of the accessories she picked. The associate matched the price of the tag, no questions asked. I wish I got his name, but he has a King of Spades tattoo behind his ear. Lovely young man. He made my kiddo feel seen and she was even more excited after he had informed her of the sex of the fishy as he told her more info of the species she chose of her fish friend. A+ kiddo!! A+!!

  This petco is awful!!! I just went and there was 2 sick animals, a tiny rat that looks larghargic and both eyes scabbed over with wounds on its body. There was also a hamster with blood all over its face and paws and it kept scratching over and over. When I brought it to the attention to a worker she just said okay and basically ignored me. These poor animals deserve care. I expect more from you petco, this is just sad

  Very helpful employees not great saltwater tanks. The live rocks in the saltwater are full of bristle worms that took over my tank..

  The products are ok. What you'd normally expect at this type place. The guy at the register was kind enough, but he talked me into joining their "plan"... I told him I wanted to discuss it with my husband first, because I had recently lost my job. He positively assured me that I could cancel it AT ANY TIME!! He said that I wouldn't be charged until after the first month. That it would be $15 a month or so. So, I went ahead and let him sign me up. The next day, I decided, after talking to my husband, that it wasn't something I wanted. I went in and tried to cancel it in the app where he said I could. It wouldn't let me. I called the number they gave me and was told that I was locked in for 12 months!!! After telling them what he told me and going around and around, they finally let me cancel it. For this reason, I very likely won't be returning to the store again, nor will I recommend it to ANYONE I know. This is not very good customer service and should not be tolerated. He outright lied to me about the program and rules.
