- BWBobby Waterworth6 days ago1.0Store associate wanted to be lazy. I asked for an African dwarf frog and they said "I would have to hand feed daily." I said, "Oh never mind in that case." Petsmart laughed when I was inquiring about having to hand feed daily. My frog has been living just fine. Petco associate lied to me in order to avoid helping my daughter get a new pet.

- RRRachelMay 5, 20261.0During my visit, I observed distressing conditions in the aquatic department. Several tanks contained deceased fish that appeared to have been there for some time, many fish showed visible signs of disease with no 'Under Observation' signage. Including others 'Under Observation". This level of neglect is not only disheartening but, a clear violation of the animal care standards Petco publicly claims to uphold. Furthermore, the service I received was entirely unprofessional. Came into the store browsed at some fish. Went to the cashier was told to "wait" and waited over 30 minutes and still recieved no service: (left at 7:05pm) As a customer who values ethical animal husbandry, I find these conditions unacceptable. *I also returned back at 7:45pm and the cashier who was sitting on her phone said "my manager will have to help you I can not leave the front" and proceeds to leave the front. The "manager" we asked for assistance and he said "You'll have to wait. I gotta do a cat thing. While playing on his phone." What is "a cat thing"? If I worked here, I'd be embarrassed to work under that type of managment/customer service- let alone work in such a store that is clearly not maintained. Went to PetSmart, got assisted immediately. 😉
