  Not to thrill with their service about 5 months ago went there they noticed something wrong with my dogs nipple said they would contact other vets to do the surgery never got back with me by the time I found a vet that would it got much worse and was cancer if caught in time I could have tried to do more, I had to put my dog down today because they didn't do anything

  I had brought my dog in to get an ear hematoma surgery (today 8/4/26), the was original estimate was for 1200$ for the procedure and told that I would receive the quote via e-mail.. Not expecting it to be much different 12-1300$ (A small difference is totally acceptable in my opinion) but when I got in the office to drop my dog off for the surgery I facing down a bill for 1550$+.. I go through my e-mail to find the quote they had sent and it's 1440$+ (6% less than the actual price of the procedure on the day of drop off).. These folks need to learn what an estimate is because all their numbers were off... These don't come off as estimates or quotes, these come off as grifts designed to get you in the door. I've estimated and quoted electrical engineering projects ranging from 10's of thousands to million dollar contracts, and if I were off by those percentages I wouldn't be working. Even vehicle maintenance estimations are better than these and they work inside unknown conditions a majority of the time. Webster Estimate definition: 1 a: to judge tentatively or APPROXIMATELY (this being what is expected) the value, worth, or significance of (being dramatically under estimated doesn't help anyone and in fact makes the estimator look bad.) Nothing against the actual vets as they themselves seemed competent and friendly but as far as the business side goes, I highly suggest anyone that wants to use their services pay close attention to their billing and what they say and remember to ask follow up questions because a 29% difference in an estimation or quote is wildly deceptive and neither the verbal quote or the quote received via email being close to the end price should be grounds for reeducation, or a reevaluation of services provided and at worst termination as it makes the company look like a grift. Now my dogs hematoma has nearly doubled in size since the day I went in initially and the day of the surgery and is sitting in the cone of shame till I have to find a new vet that can handle quotes and estimations including the procedure. Thank you Banfield, please do better. That was 100% ridiculous. (2 stars because the vet we saw initially was good with Oliver)

  Banfield is wonderful. The people working there are always very kind and helpful and loving to our little fools that like to get into trouble. They are always very good about helping us navigate our pets' healths and how to treat their most recent acts of terror against themselves and us. Absolutely love the Optimal Wellness Plans they have. If you don't have pet insurance or do I highly recommend. It's made a HUGE difference in the ability to monitor for health problems before they hit and the overall quality of life we can provide for our pets as a direct result. To that entire team, thank you.

  I brought my baby in when she was at her worst. She was not used to strangers and I felt funny having to “drop her off” to begin with. There was little to no communication from the vet about her condition. When she was picked up, the staff acted annoyed. She ended up needed emergency surgery. Her life could have been saved if the vet had communicated to us what was going on DO NOT BRING YOUR BABIES HERE!
