  I've brought my dog Lizzy here three times. The first visit was straightforward and reasonably priced. Today I came back for a simple anal gland expression and was charged $54 for the procedure, $52 for a vet tech fee, and a $5.99 disposal fee — $112.58 total after tax. I wasn't informed of these fees beforehand, and when I questioned it at checkout, I was told the visit was already complete. I was also told a "free first appointment" coupon had been applied to my first visit, which I have no memory of and was never made aware of. The same service runs $40–$50 at other clinics in the Twin Cities. My issue isn't with the care, it's the lack of pricing transparency. Call ahead and ask for a full itemized estimate before you go in.

  Our dog was a stray adopted and she could be excessively anxious and terrified, I really appreciate dr Sara’s check up, we feel listened and cared in our vaccine&annual check. (Btw I was thinking vaccine only but I got confused with vaccine clinic and total care, turns out it’s under different reservation tabs haha)

  We’ve recently moved our pets’ (Lily & Elly) care over to vetco total care @ Highland Petco. Although we are still in our honeymoon phase of our relationship we are starting to trust the services and are very impressed with the level of care we are receiving from the care team. Mary at the desk is friendly and helpful. Jessie has been a trusted and extremely helpful Vet assistant. He always follows through and responds quickly to questions. We are extremely impressed with Dr Monaco. Recently we spent almost 30 minutes of time with her on the phone to review and understand each item in a concerning blood panel from our dear Elly. We never felt rushed as we learned about the tests and made a care plan for her to address items of concern. We want to provide excellent care for our four-legged, furry family members. We look forward to doing so with this team moving forward. As a vital care member we are able to realize some reductions in fees, but pet healthcare seems to be generally expensive.

  I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Vetco with my cat, Soul. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They made me feel comfortable and cared for, which is so important when you're bringing your furry family member in for care. The whole process was impressively quick, but not rushed, just the perfect balance of efficiency and thoroughness. The veterinarian was fantastic. They were gentle, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I really loved how the doctor kept calling my cat "Ms. Girl" lmao. It was such a cute touch that made the visit even more endearing! They gave Soul all her updated vaccinations, provided her with the necessary paperwork, and even made sure she had new tags. I love how much care and attention to detail they showed. What stood out most was how helpful and patient the staff was, not just with the checkup but also with answering all my questions. I learned a lot about cats, vaccines, and general care, which I really appreciated. The whole experience felt personalized and genuine. Additionally, the next door Petco staff were equally amazing. They helped me find tracking tags for Soul and recommended a cozy new bedding. Because the crate I had was disgusting, smh. They were so friendly and helpful, making the whole process stress free. Plus, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a $45 discount since it was her first visit, which was a nice bonus. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience at Vetco. The combination of quick service, caring staff, helpful advice, and the friendly environment has definitely earned my trust. I’ll absolutely be returning here for any future needs for Soul and highly recommend it to other pet parents looking for a caring, efficient, and professional veterinary service.
