  I stopped in to buy a fish set up. We had an aquarium years ago. Decided it was time to get into fish again. We had everything we needed for a 75 gallon except fish, food, wanted more filters, and additional net. But I couldn’t get waited on. I was in the store over 25 minutes. 20 minutes trying to get someone to grab me some fish. The clerk at check out left to deal with a turtle and a customer. I waited patiently and NO ONE. There was a lady who came out at a desk by grooming. She was on a phone call. There were now 3 of us in line. I finally asked her if she could call someone to check out. She snapped “I busy, on the phone”. I told her we have been waiting and there is no one at check out. “I have been waiting to get fish 20 minutes”. She snapped, no you haven’t. I decided to leave. There is a horrible smell too in the store. Cross between guinea pig and rabbit urine. The floor is super dirty too. Went to the nearest Smart pet place. So much cleaner!!! No smell in the store and I had someone who was happy to help me get the fish I needed, even had a sale buy 4 get 1 free. Their tanks were much cleaner too at the smart pet shop. I won’t be back to this PetCo store. Staffing is poor and the lady was rude to me.

  Very disappointed seeing how many Bettas were dead in their cups and how many that looked very ill as well. One worker was nice about me letting her know about the dead fish. She asked a co-worker to go check into the Bettas and that worker was pretty defensive and clearly did not appreciate being asked to go take care of the dead fish and to check the water on the others, pretty disappointing to see how I'll the fish looked and had to feel and then the worker not feeling it was appropriate to go check into things.

  Vanessa done an absolute wonderful job grooming my miniature Schnauzer Jasper! He had a bad haircut from another individual not associated with Petco and she was very patient and took her time to get him groomed properly and we love it. We will definitely be bringing Jasper back to see Vanessa.

  Naomi is amazing! Loved my experience there, her positive attitude is unmatched, and shes very welcoming and knowledgeable!
