  Love this Petco they always have everything in stock although the medium goldfish were a little small this time they had everything I needed. The store is clean nice employees and always have parking.

  My dog could have been killed today. Don't go here until Petco makes improvements. If your store doesn't have proper facilities for veterinary services, don't offer vet services, period. My dog could have been killed today, simply because you don't offer an exam room. Rather, you put your vet staff in a corner in the back of the store, and a person standing in the middle of the store with a tablet to check people in. I brought in my 45 pound dog for an oral vaccination. When we arrived, we were given a second leash for safety, which my dog wore with no issue. He clearly did not want to allow the syringe in his mouth, so he wiggled like crazy to prevent the vet from administering it. I offered to hold him still, and was told that I was not allowed to do so. Instead, the 2 vet techs tried holding him while the vet administered the vaccination. Still, even with two leashes and three staff, he squirmed free, running loose through the store. He made a direct line for the exit, and ran into the parking lot, dragging both leashes behind him...and the 2 vet techs running to catch him. Fortunately, he ran directly to our car and stopped there, allowing a vet tech to grab ahold of a leash and walk him back toward the store. In the end, there is no way to know if he even got enough of the vaccine. Let's hope he doesn't get sick 🤞 Had he not stopped running on his own, there is no telling what could have happened. There were so many opportunities to prevent this, and yet we still had to risk the possibility of him being hit by a car. This should not have ever been possible. Do better.
