Not a good place for any dog parent loving their dog.
My dog was attacked in Woof Dah during daycare on 5/12. They did not call/inform me. While picking her up, I was told, there was something pink on her back, pointing to the spot, which was a severe bite wound. They never found any recording clips. They never were empathetic about my dog.
My dog was in trauma for several days. My wife and I were in a panic for several days. Things happen, so we would have been fine, if they had done their job of informing us immediately, shown empathy, cared for the dog, and taken accountability. There was no such thing from their side.
We were excited, when we joined the Woof Dah! family last year, when our other wonderful and caring daycare closed down for good. But we now realize, with the ownership hand changing to a corporation, their care has changed as well. Now they have only optics. No care.

We prepaid a full month of boarding and left for Montana for our wedding. They used a shock collar on our 1.5 year old dog without permission and called us after the fact. Not before. After. The only reason they called us at all was because he wasn't eating or drinking for a couple days due to the trauma. This isn't a problem dog, he is regularly boarded elsewhere with no issues whatsoever. We were across the country getting married and my parents had to drive 5 hours each way to pull him out, drop him at my aunt's house, and do all of this the day before they had to fly out to our wedding. That is what we put our family through because this place couldn't pick up the phone first.
He was also caged separately from the other dogs with no explanation. We didn't ask for that and nobody mentioned it until we started asking questions.
They did refund us and I'll give them that. But no refund fixes what this did to our dog or what it cost our family during the worst possible week for it to happen. Ask very specifically what methods they use before you leave your animal here.

Woof Dah is a magical place, for dogs and for their owners. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and treats each dog as if it were their own. The facility is clean and the special amenities like grooming and treats make it exceptional. We love this place and recommend it to everyone! Special props because it is employee owned and operated!

I am disappointed to say that after being a client for possibly 7+ years I can no longer trust my dog is safe here. My dog was attacked by another dog, completely unprovoked, I watched the footage. I did not notice until late in the evening after I picked her up and was petting her and felt blood matted fur. They gave her a bath and washed off the blood from the initial bite. No notes or message relayed to me when picking her up. I notified them and was told I am only allowed to view the footage at their facility and not allowed to record because “liability.” They told me they would not tell me if the other dog would be banned and I cannot run the risk of my dog being attacked again because of their “policy.” I have lost confidence in the staff and their ability to ensure a safe environment for my pet.

We have been attending Woofdah regularly for years, but after today's incident and how it was handled, we will never be coming back.
My two Golden Retriever dogs both love this place. However, one of my dogs was attacked today by another dog, resulting in a half-inch slice through the ear that ended up needing suture glue and a cone for a week.
I understand that accidents happen, but here is how Woofdah handled the situation:
1. They sent me a vague text TWO HOURS after the incident occurred, asking me to give them a call. I found out later the incident occurred at 12 PM, but I was not contacted until 2 PM.
2. When I called and the front desk picked up, the first thing I did was ask, "Is my dog okay?" Instead of giving me a response, they put me on HOLD. The second lady (Molly) then picked up, and I again asked, "Is my dog okay?" And instead of giving me an immediate status update, she responded, "I'll get to that in a second."
3. Molly then informed me over the phone that my dog went to say hi to a sleeping dog and that the sleeping dog got startled and bit my dog. However, when I went in person to pick up my dog, I asked them to show me the video. In the video, the "sleeping" dog was clearly awake and alert and watching my dog approach to say hi. I asked Molly why she told me over the phone that the attacking dog was sleeping, and she said she must have misspoken.
4. Over the phone, Molly also told me it was just a small little cut. However, at the vet, the vet informed me it is a half-inch slice through the ear that required suture glue. My dog will also have to take antibiotics and wear a cone for a week.
5. I asked Molly how much time had passed before my dog's injury was noticed. She informed me that the attack itself was unfortunately NOT witnessed by the attending staff. She said that someone noticed blood dripping on the floor, and that is how they tracked the injury to my dog. They told me that they had to play back videos to figure out what happened, which is what took them so long to contact me about the incident after it occurred.
6. I asked who would be covering the vet bill. After a long deliberation, she informed me that they would cover it this time. But she also informed me that any future incidents that require emergency vet visits (even if it was not my dog's fault) would be my responsibility.
7. I asked if the attacking dog is still going to be allowed to attend the daycare. She said no (which is good) but then began to try to explain to me that dogs have different tolerance thresholds. I do understand that, but at the same time, this situation made me not trust how Woofdah is vetting what kind of dogs are allowed at the daycare.
Overall, we are very disappointed in how the staff handled this incident, and we will not be returning to Woofdah.
Update: Attached is a photo of a follow-up text conversation from Woofdah staff. Very unprofessional and upsetting.
