Advice to others: Never sign up for the Auto-Ship for dog food or anything else. Was told by an employee I would save 15% on dog food through Auto-Ship, and their app shows you only save about 5%. I didn't like being lied to about the discount. Chewy is cheaper and more honest, plus their customer service is better. Shame on the employee who signs people up under false information. It doesn't make the business as a whole look honest or professional. Last time I go to a PetCo if I can help it.

Great staff and the vet there, she is really good. A simple, straightforward diagnostic frame of mind and provides options on the approach! She is really good.

Went to the walk-in grooming last week. Doors were not open at 9:05 a.m. I had to go through the vetco door. When I notified staff that the door was not working. I was told I was lying because they were automatic. I then expressed that there was another pet owner waiting outside the door. The receptionist then went to the let the other customer in. Now we are both waiting for the receptionist because she answered the phone as soon as she got back to the desk. Both of us are walk-ins with large breed dogs. Neither of us are getting checked in, the groomer comes out and starts bickering with the receptionist because they already had two 9:15 am appointments and now there are walk-ins that haven't been checked in. Receptionist tells her to answer the phone if she wants to help. It's now 9:22 am., and I left. Returned an hour later after my dogs appointment. The receptionist is giving me a hard time again, this time I ask for someone else to help me because of how she was treating me, black girl says she's on the phone with the manager and they are refusing me service. That's fine, he didn't come out to see what was going on nothing. Please reach out to PetSmart for customer service training, because they had no issues with me or my dog (why are you trying to sedate my dog? for a nail trimming).

I took my dog 🐕 Luna into Petco apple valley this last Sunday. Went to pick her up around 515pm. One lady was helping me pay the bill. The 2nd lady brought my dog out into the store. Then she said oh you don’t need our leash anymore . She took it off and my dog went through the two electric doors while I was still paying the bill. My pup went through the parking lot and got killed on Ceader. “77”. I blame the store for this. They should have never taken there leash off until my collar and leash was put on period!
