I am truly so sad to be writing this review. We took our cats and dog to this vet for years, and were decently happy with them. Then, they changed ownership a couple years ago. The new vet is very nice, but prices went through the roof. I mean, my dog's yearly vaccine itemized cost more than doubled in the span of a single year. The reviews aren't kidding -- they are EXPENSIVE now. But what really did it for me was a scare I had last year with my dog. I took her in because her throat was swollen. The vet tech immediately informed me it looked like late stage lymphoma and to be prepared for potential euthanasia that day. After a very traumatic half hour of preparing myself to say goodbye to my five year old perfectly healthy dog, the vet came in and informed me it looked more like an allergic reaction. She was very apologetic and clearly frustrated with the tech (my dog just needed some meds and was ultimately fine within a couple days) but that was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a vet.

I think this is not at all a good place to bring your pet. They do not keep to appointment times and for those of us who work, time is precious and they do not respect appointment times. The first time I was there they kept me waiting almost 45 minutes and today it was a half hour so I had to leave. At the Humane Society I have never had this issue and they are very busy. They should be more respectful especially when you have a frightened pet waiting in the lobby. Really poor disappointing service.

I wanted to give 5 stars because I've never had an issue with any of the vets, nurses, or front desk staff. They are friendly and helpful and seem to truly care about your furry family members. That being said a lazy misdiagnosis almost killed my dog. She was brought in because she wasn't eating or drinking and her movements were odd. The vet barely looked at her and said "she's seen this before and she probably just got into some weed", yeah. So we took her home and she just got worse she stopped eating or drinking anything and could barely walk, so we went back. The 2nd vet actually asked questions, did a physical exam and found out that she had pyometra and needed emergency surgery. Unfortunately the costs were not something we could afford but she informed us of a non profit that was able to perform her surgery the very next day. Because she didn't have any preconceived notions about us as people she was able to treat our dog with compassion and care.

Told these people i’d get the rabies vaccine at his regular clinic for cheaper & they still did it for $78 lol & then advertise $25 first visit and still charged $60 for that TOO… listen to the reviews for sure
