- EJElizabeth JacksonOct 10, 20265.0I was Highly Satisfied with my visit to Banfield Pet Hospital Woodhaven with Dr. Nicolas Libio, DVM. My 12-year-old Yorkie Layla was having gastrointestinal issues and Dr. Libio and the whole team were amazing. They did a thorough office visit, physical exam, and intestinal parasite fecal exam to find the cause. Dr. Libio clearly explained her treatment plan — Metronidazole, Pro-Pectalin Anti-Diarrhea Gel, and the Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Low Fat diet — and made sure I understood how to care for her at home. The staff was so compassionate and gentle. They wrapped Layla in a warm towel and held her like she was their own, which meant the world to us. Clean clinic, professional, no rush, excellent communication. We left feeling confident she was getting the best care. Thank you Dr. Libio and team!

I’m definitely one of those pet parents who likes to know exactly what’s going on with my baby, and they took the time to explain everything in detail without ever making me feel rushed. I left feeling completely comfortable and confident about Sonic’s care. I also cannot say enough good things about the Kitten Early Care Plus plan! The price is honestly amazing for everything that is included, especially during such an important stage of his life. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing Sonic is getting the care he needs while he grows, without me having to stress about the cost of every little visit or service. I’m so happy with our experience and so grateful for how well everyone treated my little guy. Sonic definitely found himself a great veterinary team! 🥹🐱💙

Unfortunately our boy passed away recently, and I’ve been disappointed with Banfield Woodhaven for not extending any condolences since sharing the news with them. The Livonia location has already sent us a really thoughtful card about his passing, and we only went there two times. It makes me question if the staff/veterinarians at Woodhaven really cared for our dog, whom they’ve been taking care of for 11 years. I l think it would’ve been appreciated and the least they could do.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
