  On September 15th around 1:00 PM, I had an absolute nightmare experience at Petco that every customer needs to know about. I went into the store to return two parakeets with my valid receipt in hand, expecting a quick, standard transaction. Instead, I was met with total hostility, wild accusations, and a massive power trip from the General Manager, Carmell. From the moment I walked up, Carmell had an atrocious attitude and treated me like a criminal. She started barking orders at me, yelling across the store, and demanding that I stand rigidly at the register while she processed the return. When I spoke up about her aggressive tone, she immediately escalated the situation and threatened to throw me out of the store. To make matters worse, she openly accused me of fraud right at the counter. Despite me holding a clear receipt proving the purchase, she insisted the birds couldn't be from Petco because the ones they stock are "green and big." When I tried to explain the obvious fact that pet stores get different shipments and bird varieties all the time, she refused to listen and just kept screaming over me. It was clear she was just angry about having to do actual work instead of going back to the break room to eat her Domino's pizza. I have already filed an official corporate complaint against Carmell for this unacceptable behavior. To ensure my claims are completely backed up, **I have the entire encounter recorded on audio**. Every bit of the yelling, the false fraud accusations, and the threats are captured word-for-word. I am currently deciding whether to let corporate resolve this internally or release the full audio clip on social media so everyone can hear exactly how this manager treats paying customers.
