- PSPaige StecherMay 11, 20263.0Staff were very friendly but I was unnecessarily charged when my pet didn't need an x-ray. And the doctor was very pushy about it when I kept saying I don't think he needs it. Only for him to say that he could only see food in his Belly. This doctor didn't even know how to read an x-ray. He said I needed it for abnormal breathing. And then when I told the doctor at The pet doctor he's like no you needed a catagram. Called the doctor and said that he needed that and he said what is that. Only to find out my cat was completely fine When I got a second opinion at the pet doctor on Hayes road. I felt cheated. My coworkers had the same experience with their cat. Even one of the ex employees there told me that they'll charge you for things you didn't need just take your money. I've been going here since I was a child with my cats. I'm very hurt
- KBKelly BeyerMay 6, 20261.0I would give this site minus 10 stars stars - we went had our dog looked at they charged us over 900 dollars ran special blood work etc- 2 days later a qualified vet took one xray and our dog had to be put down it was full of cancer. They would give no discount nothing - customer service awful - I paid the other vet 240 dollars

The manager Alicia I believe was her name was so friendly and my dog really reacted so well to her. She was beyond patient and kind to him. We definitely plan to continue to come to Banfield!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
