  My experience with this place was horrible I had an appointment on Monday 8/3/ 26 at 4:40pm didn't go to the back until 5:05pm they had me, my hubby and my dog who is a senior in the room for 30 minutes before I had to get somebody. I had talk to one of the workers so they can go get the Vet to let them we have been there a total of an hour just for a wellness exam. A tech finally came in and told us they was backed up smh which should have been said from the beginning.I heard the tech telling Dr.Ellie Owens we was upset about the long wait her reply with her rude self was like omg ok. She came in the room and said thank you for your patience but did not apologize for us waiting for an hour. I had to reply from my Gmail acct but I booked with my yahoo. Overall we was their for almost two hours for a wellness exam .This place deserves one star but I am aware of businesses contacting Google to get them deleted so I did two stars. I dont not recommend this place at all. I will never go back here. I did not read the reviews before going but I see they like to respond negative to people's bad experiences smh that tells you alot about a business.

  Such a great experience!! Dr. Rob was just lovely and kind and patient as we shared our concerns. It was a simple medicine that he administered that solved the issue!! Our furbaby is very happy. Thank you!!

  I'd like to say I love southgate animal hospital everyone there that I have met is extremely nice and very caring currently take my whippet wyatt in for allergies and they always take good care of him i also had to take my baby willow in a few months back to get checked out because she wasn't doing good unfortunately we had her put down the Dr and nurse stayed in there with my while I balled my eyes out and we were all petting willow while she passed they even sent a card to my house which I still have and made me happy that they care about your fur babies and how you feel. They are also reasonably priced in my opinion my other vet was definitely over charging when looking at the bills for the same tests. Thank you southgate animal hospital for helping me with wyatt and willow.

  Best service you could ask for, they treat your pet with the same urgency and care that you would. The vet techs are exceptional and treat this as more than a job. Unless its an emergency dont go anywhere else, and if it is still make an appointment as they will go the extra mile other vets wont, their services are in demand so be sure to make appointments in advance if possible but dont deny your pet the best care they could get in the downriver area.
