I’ve always appreciated locally owned pet stores, so I was disappointed with my recent experience at the self‑service dog wash. The shampoos provided were noticeably diluted — thin, watery, and unable to foam properly. After checking the retail bottles inside the store, the difference in viscosity was clear. Staff told me they mix a concentrate according to the owners’ instructions. If the formula is off, the wash doesn’t deliver the results customers expect. I genuinely hope this is a simple mistake rather than intentional cost‑cutting, because it raises concerns about quality control in other areas (like treats or food expiration dates). I want to support small businesses, but I’ll likely look elsewhere for dog wash services and supplies until this is addressed.

Call me a super fan! I may be bias, because I am logged into getting texts when they have big sales, but this store has heart. When I impulsively bought a cat tree, I had 3 workers help me load it up in my tiny car, they were nice and didn't make me feel like a burden at all. I also keep coming back on the deals they offer when you are a repeat customer. When my older cat was making her way out, they had all the best dietary options for her, from different broths and soft foods for her. I have never felt unwelcomed in that store. My cats also love the cat tree
