HORRIBLE! RUN! Do not send your pet here. They are all about money. They're not about your pets well-being. My dog had a pyometria and they told me to monitor her and sent me away. I had to take her to another vet the next day in which she had to get emergency surgery then they gave me a runaround when I tried to cancel the plan. I should have been compensated because all the things they say they did she already had, which was heartworm fecal testing etc all that was done within this year so why do it again? They just want money, my dog almost died if I would have not went for a second opinion.

Everyone at Banfield is great from check in until check out. Drop off service is great for those working. And they feel your pain when you have to say goodbye to a loyal friend unexpectedly.

I took my cat here to get neutered, but I had a bad experience. After the surgery, my cat got very sick, which really worried me.
I didn’t feel like things were explained clearly, especially about what to expect after the procedure or when something might be wrong. That made the situation even more stressful.
I also felt like there was too much focus on extra charges without enough explanation of what was really needed. It would have helped to have clearer pricing and more honest communication.
Because of this, I wouldn’t feel comfortable coming back.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
