  We absolutely love Banfield. We initially came here all the way from Saginaw because they provide the wellness plans and we needed an affordable way to vet our young cat that was a stray that came to us in the middle of winter. They took amazing care of our kitty Perry and we love that the wellness plan is so affordable and includes so much to help us keep Perry happy and healthy and now we know she’s doing well all around. Fast forward 11 months and now we have our oldest and most risky cat Jerry being seen because she’s sick and not doing well. They helped us pick another great plan to help cover expenses monthly for her and diagnose any problems that may be happening. Her prognosis may not be good (fingers crossed it’s nothing serious), but the doctors and staff have been so kind and helpful in helping us get the best care we can for Jerry while staying within a workable budget. We’re hoping for good results come this Friday but regardless, I know Jerry is in the best care possible here. I couldn’t be more grateful for the access this hospital provides to people of all incomes by offering such affordable and manageable services. We hope our girl will pull through for a lot longer and we’re confident the staff will do everything they can to help Jerry get healthy again. Thank you Banfield for the help and love, it’s worth the 60 mile drive knowing our best friends are in the best care possible. Couldn’t recommend this hospital enough, thank you for everything Dr Bean. ❤️

  Very sweet staff but the cost is insane and unnecessary services. The wellness plan is unnecessary if your pet isn’t chronically ill and that’s all that they wanted to sell during my time there. Not worth it unfortunately:/

  Long wait times and staffing shortages were noticed during this visit. My appointment time was early in the morning, but care took longer than anticipated, and I didn't leave the clinic until evening hours. I'm not sure what the issues are at the corporate level, but this is the second clinic that I've seen in Michigan that are experiencing staffing shortages. Aside from this, they currently have a new electronic record system that is cumbersome and challenging for staff to navigate, causing increased delays in the check-in and check-out process. PLEASE reevaluate ways to increase staffing, funding, morale, etc., and effective training efforts that will help staff be more efficient with the new charting system.
