  I’ve had such a positive experience with this Banfield team. Everyone has consistently been kind, patient, compassionate, and genuinely invested in the well-being of my pets. As someone who asks a lot of questions and wants to fully understand what is going on with my animals, I really appreciate having a team that takes the time to listen, explain things, and never makes me feel rushed. They’ve been there through routine care as well as some of the more stressful and emotional moments that come with having aging pets, and that compassion means more than I can put into words. I always feel like my concerns are taken seriously and that my pets are being treated with the same care and kindness they would give their own. I’m incredibly grateful for the doctors, technicians, and staff here and for everything they’ve done for my animals over the years. Knowing I have a veterinary team I can trust brings so much peace of mind. I truly can’t thank them enough.

  If you want your dog taken care of, don’t go here. After a month of having to tell the doctors to test my dog, they did the most basic work up, when he got worse I had to tell them what testing I wanted. Tried to tell me to do an MRI, but to x ray first, then when I asked about x ray told me not to jump the gun and do that, I just told them to stop and to do it anyways. They were supposed to call with results, I had to call them for the person on the phone to get an attitude that dr. Hway emailed me,… I work and get 100 emails a day and was told they’d call to go over next steps with me. But it was an email. When he got worse, I called to see if they could get him into the neuro faster, they said they’d talk to the doc, but surprise…. NO UPDATE Now I’m at an emergency vet with a dog who had a siezure and am pulling both my dogs form banfield immiedately

  I had a very disappointing experience at Banfield Pet Hospital in Northville today. I scheduled an appointment for my sick dog at 9:00 a.m. through Banfield’s scheduling system and arrived on time. Upon arrival, I was not greeted by any of the three employees at the front desk for several minutes. When someone finally acknowledged me and asked why I was there, I was told they were fully booked and that the new scheduling system should not have allowed me to make the appointment. Rather than attempting to accommodate my sick pet, offering alternatives, or helping me find availability at another Banfield location, the staff simply informed me they could not see my dog. There was no effort made to assist me in scheduling elsewhere or to provide guidance on where I could seek care. Mistakes with scheduling systems happen, but customer service and compassion should not suffer because of them. When a pet owner brings in an ill animal, they deserve empathy and assistance—not to be turned away without any meaningful help. I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and concerned about the level of customer care provided at this location.

  Very fair pricing. Genuinely cares about the animals. There was a miscommunication at my first appointment but their team quickly resolved this with me over the phone and my experience as a whole has been very, very positive.
