  Knowledgeable staff, unparalleled selection of small pets & pet food, perfect location, and decades of service to the city. The birds are chattering, the rodents are fluffy, and every animal lucky enough to land here is well-handled & accustomed to loving care. There's no other store like Preuss Pets within 100+ miles. You'll see what I'm talking about the moment you step inside. Visit this store, even if you're not looking for a new pet. Preuss Pets is incredible.

  We had the pleasure of working with Reid yesterday with the fresh water tank section and Reid did an amazing job, took the time to explain everything to us extremely well and answered all of our questions, was extremely professional. You can tell Reid is very passionate about the work and loves it, we can’t say enough good things about Reid!

  This pet store is absolutely incredible and has everything you could need. Had a great time checking it out, staff were accessible and friendly. Would certainly go back (and it can even serve as a poor man's aquarium - the selection is HUGE!) Best feature: koi pond is built into the floor!

  My boyfriend friend and I went in there today just for some Betta fish food. We asked a young girl there some questions about the other fish. Her name was Audrey. She was so fun and and informative as if she’s been doing this for a hundred years. She had such a fun and nice energy she was never pushy and you can tell she truly loves her job. Honestly we left there with a bunch of things and so excited to grow the fish-tank with live plants and so much more. Anyways, we left there saying that it was the best customer service we ever received in our whole lives. This place is lucky to have her. She spent so much time with us but also helped others who needed help. I will definitely be back and can’t wait to tell her how awesome the fish tank looks. She informed me of so much and inspired us to want to get so many more fun things. Great store. Best customer service thanks to Audrey. Everyone was super nice and helpful but THIS girl honestly is the best worker ever. We are super impressed. Thanks Prues and thanks Audrey for making our day. -Lori and Jonathan.

  Preuss Pets is amazing! They helped make my saltwater aquarium great again! My first experience was with Steve in Feb 2016 when he re plumbed my 240 gallon tank increasing flow. Job was great. Latest experience was with Jim where he brought my aquarium to its maximum greatness when he helped me carry down a 400 gallon glass tank in my basement and set it up. My fish are very happy. Jim does great work. Thank you my fish said.
