  They had big mealworms which is hard to find at other petcos. But the cashier scolded my child for ringing the service bell. She rang it once.

  I am so thankful to Petco and especially to Jennifer for such a great experience! I was referred to Jennifer by a friend and a couple weeks back I took my baby Enzo in for grooming. Well Jennifer noticed that he had this weird looking skin irritation under his belly. I hadn't noticed it...he's a sheltie and his coat is so thick. Anyways Jennifer suggested holding off on the grooming until I got it checked by a vet. It turns out he had a pretty severe allergy I and had been licking it so much that it got infected . My vet confirmed that grooming would have irritated it and infected it even more. I am so thankful to have found a groomer that actually cares about the well-being of the dogs in their care. I have referred many friends and family members with fur babies to Jennifer, We appreciate your hard work and commitment to these animals.

  Last week, I took my pug here to be groomed. My main reason for the visit was to have his nails trimmed and his teeth brushed, but my husband and I decided to add a bath as well. When we dropped him off, we spoke with a groomer and everything seemed completely fine. The grooming only took about an hour, and when we picked him up, everything appeared to have gone well. The employee who brought him out wasn't the same person who checked him in, but that wasn't an issue. We were actually excited because the price was reasonable, and we thought this might become a regular appointment every six weeks since trimming his nails and brushing his teeth at home is very difficult. Unfortunately, the next morning we discovered that our pug had developed an infection in his facial folds because they had not been properly dried after his bath. Facial fold infections are a common issue with pugs, which is why it's so important to thoroughly clean and dry those areas during grooming. I was very disappointed to see this happen. Pugs are a common breed, and I would expect a professional groomer to know the importance of properly drying their facial folds. This experience makes me question the level of training and attention to detail provided during the grooming process. I hate leaving negative reviews, but this was a preventable issue that caused my dog discomfort. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this grooming service.

  Store is always in order and clean. They always have the supplies I need and everyone is helpful.
