  I live about 30 minutes away, and choose to come to this petco over similar businesses. Chi, their fish guy, is absolutely the best- we were actually recommended to come here specifically for him and I can definitely see why. It’s clear he’s incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the hobby and wants to be sure people are taking proper care of the fish. All of the fish I’ve purchased from here have thrived after returning home, I cannot say the same for other suppliers. Definitely make the trip and come to this location for all your aquarium needs!

  I was in this past Monday and it was my first time in a long time visiting your location. I saw you guys had a wonderful deal on aquariums and was super happy to find a rimless aquarium. I also was super impressed with the wide selection of aquarium plants. I wasn’t aware that customers were not allowed to touch them. I’ll admit that was my fault. However I did not like how I was confronted about it. I was ridiculed and shamed by one of the employees. I begin to apologize for my mistake and they wouldn’t even respond to that. I almost walked out right there and then but I really wanted the plants and aquarium. So I went on with my business. Another employee assisted in bagging up my plants. I did tell her what happened and I was super apologetic and she was compassionate. Told me I’m not the only customer who has done this and it’s ok. We all make mistakes. I proceeded to thank her and went back to looking at driftwood. The whole time I felt like that rude employee was gazing in my direction, watching my every move. I felt targeted. When I went up to the register; they were the one ringing me up. They were just eager to get me out of the store and lack social etiquette. I did try to break the ice by apologizing again and explaining that I had no idea. I usually shop at petsmart and customers usually grab their own plants on plant display. She didn’t even respond to my apologies. Cold, straight gaze and no expression. There was zero effort on their part to perhaps change their attitude around. I believe this one employee needs a better attitude and learn the basics of good customer service. The way I felt leaving that store after that experience made me feel not human. I am not trying to sound like a Karen but they were extremely rude. I will never step a foot in this store again. Because I believe now I’m labeled. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It is too bad because it is a beautiful store and you guys do have a lot more aquatic things then petsmart.
